This video features six diesel locomotives and two Diesel Multiple Units.
The main attraction for me was the presence of a Deltic, D9009 'Alycidon' running as 55013 'The Black Watch'.
This video was recorded on the Saturday and features five locations.
So please turn up the volume and enjoy these vintage diesels in action on the GCR.

Another wonderful Gala from the GCR John, expertly captured as always. Those streaks of oil on the Deltic's side look a bit worrying...Regards...Bob

You had a good day there John, a shame it was so overcast compared to Friday. Liked the timing of D123 & 37714 passing in that long field shot (my two favourites for different reasons). Bet that field by Rabbit bridge would be a bit soft today!! Regards, Brian.

Brian, The field that accesses Rabbit Bridge had recently been ploughed and the farmer is not too keen on people wandering through it which I have to respect. The nine hours we spent at the GCR went by quickly such was the frequency of the trains coupled with moving to different locations. Regards, John
