Once again, our first big railway event of the year was the Great Central's winter steam gala. I hadn't planned on going, originally. But, after much indecisiveness, we ended up going, on the Sunday. Featuring the usual array of passenger, freight and TPO workings, the gala consisted mainly of the home fleet, with a guest locomotive, in the form of Q Class no.30541, courtesy of the Bluebell Railway.
