I used to be so annoyed that people called my dog a horse or cow [205lb Primrose Dane] but got used to it quickly. I never filmed it but we would go everywhere together and never had an issue other than people who feared dogs. He would understand and try to make himself small to accommodate them. Wonderful creatures. Just get a bigger bed and couch before adopting.
It has indeed been done before, during a fundraiser by a local charity, we took our 9 hand high Shetland cross pony and my breeding stud great Dane into a shopping mall with collection baskets attached. They were almost exactly the same height at the withers, and attracted a huge amount of attention, raised quite a lot of money for a childrens cancer research organisation. Good fun.
I would really like to see this two loose in a pasture to see how they would get along. Fine I'm sure. It would be cool to see them just be friends and run around.
Cash and Rowdy are growing closer by the day. :) I don't see a problem having Rowdy in there Cash and Rowdy are the same size. As long as the owner has Rowdy under control which he clearly does. Not sure if they had a problem in the end or not.
Possibly they were worried that Rowdy might kick someone since his shoes were irritating him a little. The noise might have been a bit too overwhelming aswell.
@@Lozza2993 That's true regarding horses kicking and Rowdy's shoes. Could be that. But I assume the owner watches Rowdy's behaviour and feet and the public like a hawk when a crowd is around. It appears that he does. Nothing is ever 100% safe of course. A private establishment obviously has to way up any liability risks though.
The way the horse stomping his foot makes me nervous! He doesn' t want to be touched in the rear i think. That gorgeous dane is more people friendly. I love both though😍😍😍
This is gold. I've had Danes. There's one across the street from me who i petsit. And even I didn't realize that they were actually as big as some horses lol
never ceases to amaze me at how many people will reach out to touch things without asking first. especially a living, breathing being. obviously, these animals are friendly but seriously, even a friendly animal can get spooked. the people with children? you're just gunna let your kid grab the horse? out of nowhere? or the adults, you're really gunna start petting the horse by standing behind it? where it can possibly kick you? the common sense is nowhere near the window, it's flown away.
Yeah, and usually they will wait until the owners are in front of them to then pet the animal, basically pet it without the owners knowing. Then the person who touched the animal and got bit/kicked/whatever will demand the animal to be put down because they're "aggressive"
Mall staff most likely came to the conclusion that if they kick Rowdy out then they also have to kick Cash as well. At that point you guys had already made enough rounds where everyone in the mall was in love, so if it came to kicking y'all out there would probably be a lot of upset mall-goers on your side, and the staff probably realized that.
The video is only 12 minutes long. Do you think one of the guys is carrying a _bucket of water_ for the Rowdy miniature horse? Both the Cash & Rowdy are stopping regularly for people to pet them. They're calm and seem okay, though Rowdy wants to get that rear rubber shoe off. He's probably not very used to them.
Malls aren’t doing well in general you would think they would welcome extra publicity and the star power Cash and Rowdy bring I will never shop there ❤❤❤Mitch in Florida
Wow how did you get away with that. I took Harley my shih-tzu in mall carrying him and didn’t make it 500 foot and had 5 security on me and kick me out.
I need some of those rubber sole shoes for Rex when we go for bike rides 🤔 Steve.. do you happen to know where your walking buddy got those shoes from?
Since when has it become normal to have animals inside malls and grocery stores. I see this all the time when shopping. Think about the kids that have allergies.
