My gsd mix used to dog that as a final 'enough!' to my little terrier mix when she was a puppy and wanted to play. First he'd tolerate her, then he'd pick her up gently by the scruff and toss her safely across the room. She'd get up, bark, and run back towards him. They'd play that game til she was on his last nerve. When he knocked her over and secured her under his paw,she was on her back, kicking like a one of those little robot dogs you get for your kids at Christmas. She left us about a month ago due to old age. God,I miss her.
Once on a pizza delivery the owner did nothing to stop his dog from attacking me full force. I left outta there with my sock a little wet in one tiny spot. :)
Joshua Hardie Great Danes are incredibly disciplined. They will only attack a target if their humans order them to do it. Great Danes were bred to hunt big game
I cant go anywhere like that..i have functional autism and zero political correctness lol...in 0.5 secs id spot it then say something rude to the owner "is that a pug + pig ? Why is it really fat ? Dont dogs get fat when over fed ??'' 😆
@@TheCraigy83 You clearly have the intention to insult the dog and the owner, dont come to us with that "autism" bullshit, you can't use that as an excuse for being an asshole.
My Great Dane did that all her life with her friends when they where playing xD No matter if it was a Golden, german shepard, mastiff or a damn chiuawa she knock their as down a few times then she roll over and pretend to be beaten :P
They are the best... Mine nearly made it to 11 years and I was heartbroken when we had to say goodbye. That was 9 years ago and I'm on my second dog since then, but I still can't bring myself to getting another Dane (not yet anyway) because she was that special.
I lost my girl at 13. She was in great shape and died of bloating. She was such a loving soul. Never got another Great Dane. There will only be one like her, at least in my heart. 20 years later, I cry on occasion thinking of how much I miss her. Love you girl and will continue to honour your life in mine.
Carole Dufort I had my pair years spent 13 years together Sheeba went to the bridge in early 2014 & Grape Nehi June 2016 I have a picture in my bedroom of the day they met
LOL, starting at 1:34 the pug in the background is all like "guy's can I join in...? guys?... okay I'll just go back here have fun" cue the sound of silence
That little dog😂😂😂😂. I just scrolled down and saw Shadow had passed. What a lovely gentle dog! Great Danes have short life spans but they leave big paw 🐾 prints in our hearts❣️. You'll see your pup again when it is your time to pass. He will be there to greet you. 💫😊
that precious daschund pup seems to be in love with the beautiful great dane & it's amazing how a tiny baby can be so playful with a gentle giant & that should shade light on how people need to react to other people "be kind & gentle with others because you never know what they are going through"
That beautiful Great Dane was so GENTLE with that Precious Doxie. We had one Doxie who sadly passed away 4 years ago. He was just like this little baby. His besties were all large breeds, even horses! Sammy didn't know their was a difference. We had a black cat. Those two were inseperable! Sammy was red. We have two now. Jaxon will be 3. He's black and tan. He loves people and animals (especially kids). Cooper is a cow pie and those 2 hit it off right away.
Free Manz yeah i took shadow to the dog park 5 days a week and even took him when i walked my kids to and from school so he loved everyone and everything.
The bloke in the background is right. That is so cute. Both beautiful dogs. Aren't we so lucky to have dogs. They really do brighten our day and bring people together.
Just sucks that this didn't start getting more views till after he died. I would of loved to have made more videos if I knew people would wanna see them.
Randy, your Dane was beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss. How old was he when you had to let him go?? I have 3 Danes right now and a Doxie. My Doxie is 14 and all my Danes are 3 and under. I love the Merle Danes the most. I had to let my heart Dane go after two bouts of cancer. She will be gone 3 yrs this December 17th. She was 5 days shy of 9. Thank you for sharing this video of your Dane. Even when they are gone, the memories last a lifetime.
Randy first so very sorry for your loss. I'm sure it broke your heart. What was your Danes name? I feel as though I knew him and I'd like to know his name.
What a great dog! Very sweet and gentle with the lil pup! The Great Dane is like, what the hell! What a beautiful color he/she is! Just a gorgeous Great Dane!
And that's why Great Danes are called 'Gentle Giant's'. What a beautiful Dane, too!! The wee Doxie seems to be infatuated with the Dane! And love how they play together, too!
Awww I'm so sorry to hear that u had to put him down, poor baby but he must of been really sick for u to do that but yes u have ur memories I know how bad it hurts to loose ur good friend,I lost mine like 6 years ago and I still get sad when I think about my precious little Chloie, stay strong and I am sorry to hear this bad news.
LOL! poor puggies! They were all waiting on the side to get in on the action and as soon as they move in that Dachshund said "NO! This is MY FRIEND!" lol.
I love great danes. Very nice and calm dogs. Most of the ones I met were even a bit skiddish. I think the "lab mix" puppy I adopted a couple months ago is actually not lab but great dane mix lol. She's very sweet. And big. Very big.
Makes my heart break, thinking of all my Dane boys that wait for me. Danes are the sweetest dogs, this is so typical of these Gentle Giants. bless them all, and you.
I've had dachshunds since I was 11, and they are the cutest dogs! That Great Dane was so patient with her, even when she wouldn't leave him alone! So sweet! This video made my day, and brought a smile to my face!😆
