We get busy replacing a drive pump on the Great Dane zero turn out at the ranch, belt material had gotten under it and wiped it out. Thanks for checking out the channel, Subscribe, like, share, comment and all of that it really does help to grow the channel. We also got started fixing holes in the Challenger front windshield area and I am editing that now so stay tuned for that update. One of the best on-line videos I've seen yet. Love the tag-team thing. Very down-to-earth folks with a flair for mechanics. Simple language and you all kept the camera rolling throughout the endeavor, really cool. I have a 61 inch great dane of which I've completely overhauled. I have to change my right side pump. I managed to find a 52 inch Chariot with a blown engine for 500.00 leaving me with 2 wheel motors(985.00 each) 2 hydro's(approx 400.00 each) and a bunch of other trinkets. Anyway, good job guys.

Hello brother, I have the exact same machine even though they're not very popular I love it, but recently the drive belt broke up and I can't figure out the part number for it, any chance you could help me out that? I would really appreciate it..

Hey I was wondering if you had a moment to possibly assist another small engine mechanic? Currently have a Great Dane super surfer stand up and I can get it to start run and blades come on but cannot get it to move at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for checking in with a project. I would make sure that it doesn't have tow disconnects that are not allowing it move that may be engaged. Most of these have levers or some way of disengaging the drive motors so that you can push it around if it is dead. Make sure that the direction levers are tight at the ends and actually moving the arm of the pump or motor. I have seen the ends work loose and just not move the shaft. Hope that helps, always double check the basics of course as well like maybe two hydraulic tanks or something crazy. Let us know when you get it going!

@@limitsedgemachineworks1433 thank you for the info. I have scoured this machine everywhere for a lever or the trans release pins and I can't find anything. When I say it won't move I mean it's locked as if the brakes are on. But the brakes are not it's kind of like trying to push a mower when it's in gear. The shafts on the pumps are rotating when the levers are moved but the weirdest thing is there's absolutely no sound out of the hydraulic pumps at all not even a whining sound. Nothing at all

@@jcssmallenginerepair3261 I would be very close to pulling the drive motors and pumps loose and just making sure one of them isn't locked up at this point. If you can take turn both of the inputs and make sure they rotate about the same when compared to each other.

@@limitsedgemachineworks1433 I am absolutely idiot LOL I was so focused on there being a problem with the hydraulic pumps that I did not even realize the hydraulic drive belt was off. The belt was stretched and ripped but still connected 🤦‍♂️
