As I viewed this video on a cold, grey, end-of-Winter day, in the middle of my struggle to find affordable housing, I needed to take a beat. While sorting out my car's lease and checking on my food stamps a thought occurred to me: You two were both teachers. I need to be a lawyer to sort through all this- - but it all starts with being able to read. Teachers make lawyers! Maybe one day, if I keep trying, I'll win that settlement and need those banks, investment firms and the sales office at The Villages. 🤞

I'm so jealous of everyone walking around in shorts. Driving to work this morning I was wearing jeans, a heavy turtleneck sweater, a tee shirt, heavy lumberjack boots, a parka, a hat, scarf,and gloves - it was 2 degrees when I left at 6:30 am. I can't wait to get there!!!

We ordered a neon green cart when we were in TV in February to purchase our new home. We move into our home at the end of March and will have to wait until June for our golf cart. We figured the neon green would be easy to spot in a parking lot 😉

Good Morning Jerry and Linda ! I just LOVE your adventures ! I've been meaning to tell you that a crafter I watched a lot and still do (her sister and son) are keeping her RU-vid channel going. She lived there somewhere in that area her name was Melody Lane she passed away here a few weeks ago at a Cricut convention in Las Vegas due to Covid. Her son Alex still lives there in that area I think it's called Lady Lake if I'm not mistaken. I have this in my bucket list to do (I hope) someday to move to this area. Come April 9th (this year) I have been battling 2 different types of cancer. This looks like such a great living community to live in plus it would put me closer to my kids and grand daughter. Thanks for sharing.

It’s been quite a while since I last checked in. I had never been on a “town trip” so to speak, with you and Linda. Wow, they really have every imaginable resource you might ever need don’t they? I’m still gonna try to get my husband to rent a home in there for a while. Do they have rentals for a month? It’s a beautiful place.

Loved the cart ride! Very refreshing and beautiful and so fun when folks see you out and about, I’d make a ruckus too! 😁 It’s truly wonderful seeing the squares and golf carts with folks out and about enjoying life. After these past couple of years I doubt I’ll ever fuss about crowded malls or events : ) Sure sweet Giz enjoyed the ride, too. Orange cart for me with a nice seat for a pupper. Lynda’s working today and I’m supposed to be painting the lounge…but I’m laying in bed with a cup of coffee and watching your video’s. So much fun. Love the sound of the golf cart’s. While I love all your videos, the golf cart ride alongs are my fave. I love seeing all the neighborhoods and pretty houses and the squares. Your narration during is always quite interesting as well. I would get a maroon golf cart to show some Texas A&M love with a big ol’ A&M decal on the front.

Loved your your of the Villages on thr golf cart!! Amazing home many different types of carts you passed by. You mentioned you have head lights. Do people drive their carts at night in the dark? I did not see any street lights for the carts except in the tunnels? Thanks

Yes, we do have headlights. All of the carts down here do. The neighborhoods like where we live… all have street lights. Even along the big roads there are street lights. You will see carts being driven all hours of the day and night. That is a huge part of living here.

That was a beautiful drive. My husband and I will be at The Villages on June 2, 2022. We will be staying 7 nights. We are very excited. It’s going to be great. It should be warm but it will be fun. We get a few weekdays and also experience a weekend. My hubby is wanting an electric cart but I’m wanting gas. Hope to see you then. Jackie, Leon and our dog Rocky.

I’m giving the thumbs up right now. Haven’t watched the video yet, but golf cart rides are one of my favorites. I know I’ll love it. We’re you taking Linda back to Winn Dixie to get your deposit back? If I were to buy a golf cart today, I’d choose black because I have a black vehicle. They’ll have to match or I’ll go crazy. Usually my car coordinates with my house which has red decor, hence red car. I went with black this time. It’s beautiful but I have to wash it 4 or 5 days a week. I don’t understand why your sewage treatment plant has an odor. I live fairly close to the lake and the treatment plant. If I’m standing right next to it, there is no odor ever. There was when they first opened, but hasn’t been one for years. You should refer your locals to WLSSD in Duluth for guidance. Ha ha!

Hey Jerry! Hey Linda! Our new 2022 cart won't be ready for us until well into April so we picked up a used 2020. We took it out in the rain yesterday just for fun! Got soaked :) We are loving it here. I thought after driving around TV for a month now I'd not be able to watch you driving around, but you keep us entertained.

We used to have a seasonal campsite and zoom around on our golf cart there. It was customary to wave everytime another golf cart approached. Since there are thousands of carts in the Villages - is that a thing there too?
