As someone who used to listen to the "original" upload of this song (which was up for years before mine), I am quite saddened to see it get taken down. It getting taken down is basically the only reason why my upload specifically has taken off, since it's the most similar to the previous one. I feel quite cheap getting over 200K views and multiple subscribers over content I had no involvement with, but at the same time I'm honored to carry on the legacy of the previous upload. I will try my absolute best to keep the song up and make the video as similar as possible to the previous one, that meaning adding subtitles and other minor tweaks in the near future! I like how the Units version sounds like the entirety of Jojo coming together and singing all happy. Jojo is such a comfort show and this just adds to it

The Part 4 finale released right as I was looking around at colleges to apply for, fresh out of high school. Walking around all those massive pretty campuses, imagining myself walking across 'em each morning to class, having this play in my head the whole time- it really cemented the _"This Is An Incredible New Chapter Of My Life I'm About To Start"_ feeling for me back then, and I kinda consider it the "theme song" of my entrance into the _big leagues_..! Thanks for the awesome track & Great Days I've had listenin' to it y'all, and thanks Araki-san for such an awesome, Bizarre series!

最終回泣きながら見てたらTOMMYさんの声聴こえた瞬間号泣した😭

DiU is easily my favorite part of JoJo and this playing over the last like 4-5 minutes of the last episode as it pans through all the people we met and all the friends we made through all of part 4, it genuinely made me cry knowing we very likely wouldnt see any of these characters again. I truly believe they couldve made an entire long running anime based just around the DiU characters.

I listened to this on repeat while doing an essay. I somehow got a 100.

I’m currently writing this on June 9, 2023. It’s been exactly one year since Billy Kametz died. I was never able to meet him, but he seemed like the coolest dude. Man was a “modern great” in the anime community, I tell you. Role after role and he killed it each time I heard him in something. I don’t really know how to end this, so thank you DioGoesBrando for keeping this upload going strong. To all you crazy diamonds out there, keep shining on.

Little memoriam(?) for Billy Kametz Honestly Billy Kametz was such a good cast for Josuke, he captured the friend guy, the badass guy, the cocky guy, the goofball guy, the pissed-off guy, the whole hometown hero guy. Most roles in JoJo I much prefer the JP casting such as DIO, but I can’t remove Billy Kametz’ Josuke from my head, whereas I always remember how Takehito Koyasu voices Dio. People might say because seiyuu culture in Japan being much better planned, Josuke’s JP VA must be better on principle, and Yuuki Ono’s still great, but that just made Billy Kametz an underdog, especially considering he was fresh to voice acting when it came to Josuke. DIU was also when I thought the English dub was very good in general, Billy Kametz represented that as Josuke. Also love his great out of context worthy lines like “For the love of God! Drop the meat!” or how he messed with Yoshikage Kira to blow up Yoshihiro Kira somehow in my mind sticks out as a performance moment, not sure why though.

best part of this song is that i got to perform it for my music assessment, BAHAHA!!

As someone who went through a JOJO binge this summer (I’m all caught up until the second half of Part 6’s anime is released on Netflix), all I can say is this bizarre journey was truly worth it.
