Great Email Shared and The Most Intense Recovery Story I Have Experienced 

I was just thinking on my experiences with moving over the yrs in my addiction. My ex-fiance n I were together for eight years n used the whole time :( (As hard as it was though, I broke it off with him back in 2013, for either of us to have a chance at getting clean). Anyway, over the years, we would go back n forth from Pgh-(home town), to NM, or TX, depending on where his mother was living at the time. (she unfortunately passed away 2yrs ago due to her alcoholism). We always went with good intentions to get clean! But as we all know, u can run from "ppl, places, n things", but u can't run from yourself! No matter where in the country u are, u can find what u want! Until u truely work on you, inside, n want it so desperatly enough, then the desire to change n get clean is there! Not to mention w/ two ppl in a relationship using together, n trying to quit at the same time, n to be exactly on the same page, is almost impossible! So, for me, once I had made the decision to change, n break it off with him, I was able to get clean! And, lucky for me I've been able to get clean for the past 10 months in a different, safe environment! Still in pgh., but far away from my triggers! And that has helped me tremendously! If ur honestly ready to get n stay clean, n are able to change locations, it does make a huge difference! (BTW, my ex still uses n still struggles,.. sigh).
