1953: A lot of things happened in 1953, as shown in this pictorial year of events and a lot more has changed in this world when you look back over those 70 years. The world is a far better world
But firstly, this post is about the comparisons of almost 70years in the reign of the Queen and I since 1953. You will certainly spoty some differences.
Firstly, I was born on Easter Sunday 5th April and because of that I have always felt special. Well special in my own mind.
But 1953 was a celebration and special for many other Firsts, one being the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne of the United Kingdom, and to celebrate those 70years on the throne, a Platinum Jubilee weekend of fun and holidays, celebrations will be held throughout the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.
Enjoy 2022, as my life parallels many of the events that have happened during this reign since and probably to many of you out there, so to commemorate that Jubilee of 70years on the throne I made this video from a book I picked up over 20 years ago.
