Here's some of my favorite tools I keep around! amzn.to/37YVezE
One of my favorite ground cover with flowers...Iceplant (Delosperma spp.)! In this video I talk all about hardy ice plant including a bit of history, some of my favorite places to plant it, how to get it started, and how to enjoy it! This succulent, mat-forming groundcover produces tons of vibrant flowers atop evergreen foliage. If you love color, drought tolerant plants, have lots of sun, and poor soil, this is a great option for you! #groundcover #iceplant #hardyiceplant #delosperma

Ice plant has been amazing in my Colorado garden! Spreads very quickly, very heat tolerant, and produces beautiful blooms in a wide variety of colors.

@@RiseOfAnarchism Its a sedum, itll grow perfectly well with just a piece of a branch. No roots nesesary, grows really well under some small lights like that. Its good to put around your indoor plants.

I made the mistake of planting my ice plant in a large, pot, and watering weekly. It was in full sun, but never seemed to flower much, and I probably overwatered it. Suffice it to say that I lost this plant. My 2 mistakes: planting in a pot, and overwatering. I learned my lesson. I still like this plant, and will probably replant it in the coming spring in my zone 6B garden. Oh well, live and learn.

I have 2 cover plants in my yard which are, wheels of wonder and baby sun rose. If two cover ice plants were to meet, do they fight over ground territory? Or will both coexist? Also I love these plants as a home defence, since the 🐝bees🐝 keep me safe from unwanted guests 😌

Hello Devin, do you use any weed control practices while waiting for the ground cover to fill in? Such as mulching or Preen? If clover or crab grass gets in there you may have some challenges. I like Vinca, and watch closely for any weed infestations to prevent problems down the road😎
