They have this same guitar on amazon now for the same price, with jumbo frets , the alnico V pickups, and locking tuners on it now. Idk why everyone who bought this guitar 6 months ago didnt get the locking tuners .
It was still a good deal without them, but that’s cool they are on the guitar now. I use that guitar often for my practice sessions. Once I set it up, it has been a solid guitar that feels and plays good.
If you like you can use some different grades of sandpaper in your hand and go back and forth on it sanding the neck down to fit the shape of your hand better if it too much like a baseball bat. But its a nice looking guitar for that price. Sounds decent too. Not screaming back at you. Always room for upgrades if the bones are good.
I would say it depends on what your budget is and what type of bridge you want. The Jackson will cost about $100 more, but comes with a Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo bridge (Jackson Branded) and has hotter pick ups. They both play nice and sound good. The Leo Jaymz has a fixed bridge. Either one will be a good choice. Budget guitars have come a long way. Best of luck on your decision.
