Hey Thuy Your are a jack of all trades!!! Very good ideal for digging thru the dirt under the concrete!!! I can’t wait til rock season boats all ready need to test it out in the next few weeks. To make it sure it sea worthy

This is an interesting method, but it may not be suitable for all applications. I have a sidewalk just 2 feet around the perimeter of my home. I need to dig a trench from there to a dry well 10 feet away. If I used this method it will put so much water next to my foundation, I think it wouldn’t be worth it.

Thanks for watching. I have used this technique to dig a hole under a sidewalk to replace the main water line.

warm weather places thats good ,Remenber cold weather places like kansas water lines have be below frost line. Wich varies from place to place.Just get deap eought and let the water flow.Thanks for the great tip

Thanks Moo for watching. Yes I am working on my drive way and pouring concrete for my boat parking. Could not go fishing last week due to sickness and working on the driveway. Hopefully I can go fishing this week with Jeff. He is selling his boat so he he taking a potential buyer going fishing this Saturday. He asked me to go.

I would recommend using a 3-4 inch pipe to do the digging AROUND this tool you made. It will contain the amount of dirt you remove so the concrete will not fall, and you dont have to pack back in all the dirt. It also makes the digging easier.

@@Fishing247 ok, good to know. I saw another clip with a tube, being used and a pressure washer, but short distance(washer wand length limited). I like your setup!

Thanks for watching. You are right. It weakens the concrete, but I do this when. There is no other feasible option. Stay safe.

Just fill it with gravel under, then pack with the dirt. Don’t leave it hollow as your concrete will crack. You can even use a dense expanding foam, like fence post foam

is that the same sealant come between the pipes before welding anh ?

Thanks for watching. No. It is called flux applied on copper before welding. The white sealant (thread sealant #5)is only for male and female threads pipes joining together.
