It would be nice to see a video about Sam's life as a pilot. His military rank and experiences, planes he flew, civilian pilot life and how he applies this wonderful knowledge to his boating life. I know that's asking a lot, but I think many would love to see it. :-)
Your boat doesn't have roll stabilizers, so you have more rolling motion when in broadside or quartering seas. Your boat was not built to be a blue water boat. All boat designs are compromises and can't meet all conditions.
Great vid as always, loved the idea of the FAQ series... did you ever do it? I'm a year behind I know, but I decided to go back to the start and watch in order. I sometimes binge 5 or 6 at a time. My wife and I are boat shopping, with a target purchase date of about Fall of 2024. But, if a good deal presents sooner, who knows. My wife will retire Spring 2027 (I'm already retired) and we plan to do the 2 "mini loops" here in Florida between getting our boat and her retirement as practice for the Great Loop after her retirement. I'm finding your videos very educational and the best loop video series I've seen. Keep up the good work! By the way, following your AIS on the Marine Traffic app, and every time you're stopped more than a few days I find myself hope you're sightseeing and not dealing with boat issues.
Thanks. Our FAQ series is being redone since it was done about 18 months ago. We hope you get to do the loop sooner than later and will look for you out there. If you see us, give us a call on CH 16.
You guys had a rough ride on the water and I had rough rides in the air. I’m sure you aren’t missing those white caps in your coffee cup at FL360, are you Sam? 🤣 As always, enjoying your videos and following your journey. Safe travels on the water and I’ll continue to keep the blue side up on my end!! Cheers!!
What a ride you guys thanks for all the hard videoing Rev. Sure glad you didn't get sick in the washing machine water. It is awful nice for us that you all enjoy sharing your experiences and knowledge. Calmer seas and smooth water wishes to you.
A lot of great questions some I know the answer to many I don’t know. Looking forward to your answers. I have heard a lot about the Naples and Marco Island area hope to visit there someday. Many say it’s beautiful there. Safe travels! (Happy early Valentine’s Day)
