These seem dope (different neutral colors, layers, various materials) - don’t know how I missed these dropping NB has been doing great stuff, and these are probably my fav (based on looks at least)
They were sitting in Offspring selfridges. Loads never picked up their raffle win, tried them on and decided to get this colourway over the JFGs one and I saved £30 doing so
What he failed to mention, or simply didn't realize, is that the 990's use fuel cell foam throughout their midsole, just like the NB More V4's that he mentioned in the video.
Love to see how hard New Balance has been going with so many great collabs. The JFG collab was dope. Man, the days of all the heat collabs, like Kith 997s, Asics Gel Lytes, etc...would kill to see runner collabs just become so prevelant again.
I'm surprised you left out the Leratos when talking about the squishy fuelcell foam. Leratos hands down beats them all on comfort/stability/cushioning.
@@wonkydonkey7899 you took the “dad shoes” quite literally. That term means the design is old looking like what dads used to wear back in the days, even up until now.
@@wonkydonkey7899 might be a cultural thing, but here in America it’s a general term for an older design shoes, or anything leaning on the ugly side. Nothing to do with the age of who’s wearing it
I love it but ! But trying keep my purchases down , I have both the Joe Freshgoods 9060's . But very comfortable shoe . I hope you get the 1906r a new model coming ! I would love to see a review on that one. Thisneverthat did the first release/collab on them
i ove NB but they got the same problem that nike has, NB has fuel cell bottom and they dont use it on other models . like nike zoom x and react and they dont use it in other model sometime . i understand not ever model need it but it be nice
I'm hoping for a restock (size13). I had to pass on these because there was a few other pairs that dropped around the same time, that I was waiting for.

Guys.... it's a Grey New Balance.... As if a Ferrari in red is GROUNDBREAKING..... it's a GRi8 THAT regard, I'm down.... but present it as such, NOT as some "Revolutionary " , "Breaking the Mold" concept..... it's a "2k" in traditional NB Grey.......
