@@HungA.F. context clues. she (very clearly) meant shoE. and i agree Karen. hopefully you were able to cop your Palomino 1s. (i mentioned "@" you on twitter a few days ago trying to help you out to secure your pair - no reply but hope you secured your retail W)
@@mangosteen.I believe he's referring to an identifier on a label or in the info pack with a scale of say 1 to 10. If there's an industry standard similar to shoe size, it would give a prospective buyer an idea of the feel especially if you're purchasing online.
I am US9.5 also, and I tried doing half size down for 550, as most people suggested. It was suffocating on the toebox, and I can only wear them when I swap out the insoles for a thinner version. Even then it wasn't comfortable. Definitely need to go TTS for 550. I have normal width feet, and I got down a half size in all MiUSA, 2002r, and 9060. MiUK, 327, 580, 530, 1960r I go TTS
Dunno how but I happened to see those WRPD runners on the NB site and they really got my attention - the only reason I didn’t pull the trigger was because of the paneling on the toe box made me think here wouldn’t be enough give for my wide feet so super happy Hes put out this review
Funny you should say that i currently have 4 pairs of Asics in my sneaker closet, 2 nimbus 25s, 1 numbus 24, 1 Kayano 29. Asics is definately among my favorite brand of sneakers, I agree they definately are quality and inovative leaders,@@silverbackdp
Probably, they are really different from each other! Because kinda the same story for me: tried at Nordstrom Rack and !Boom! They are super good: leather is soft, insole is good and the colorway is fire (offwhite and blue). Got them immediately!
Not sure about the suede versions, but the leather ones, brand new are fairly stiff... but after breaking them in, they feel more flexible. Perhaps, you can find a pre-loved pair that's already broken in
I didn’t like the insoles that come with the shoe, so I swapped them out with aftermarket ones. They elevate the comfort of this shoe to another level.
i started watching your channel o see what you recommend as comfortable shoes and i started liking NB more, and more. now i just bought the NB fresh foam X more trail v3 which are amazing. but i want something for the streets not for trekking .
New Balance are killing it at the moment, i have been totally converted and my partner would love to personally blame you for this!!!! HAHA Jokes, i just hope the new Basketball range is as Elite as the last model of Two WXY! Thanks for the vid. (my bank balance disagrees)
Good point, if some fuel cell is firmer and some is softer the same can be said of fresh foam X. Then is there really any technical difference, or New Balance just chooses the names for marketing? Other manufactures are guilty of this also, like adidas and nike.
I might be the only one (or my monitor isn't properly calibrated) but the sand colored ALD 550s on NB website looks more saturated. If the sand color on this video is a more accurate representation, I'd definitely cop.
A lot of sizes are already gone. I'd probably want to wait for more colors anyway, I don't love that aged yellow midsole. Definitely want to try these though.
These look so sweet, I like everything about them, but man, all those creases in the midsole after just some light wear?? Complete deal-breaker, I'd expect much better quality.
Nice review Hes. Sizing for me, all the made in usa I go TTS, but for WRPD runners TTS was way too roomy. I need to go half size down as well. Ill be selling my 9.5 if anyone looking to cop, let me know. (they were worn once for 2 hours).
I have wide feet and they were great true to size. I love the look of this model but the fuel cell is gna ruin the look of this shoe after multiple wears with the creases on midsole. The mess is really soft but extremely fragile. The mess starts to fray.
