Out here in the desert Southwest of America, we've dealt with coyotes, roadrunners, and the occasional desert tortoise. Imagine how long it takes for those guys to cross the runway.
Great stuff, I have watched the whole build series, and your efforts to keep the weight down really show in the nice slow flying qualities of the model. I recently started flying my first powered model after many years of slope soaring, it's a bit of tank so the landings are a bit fast, and the throttle position has some effect on altitude which I'm trying to dial out by bringing the CofG back. Thanks John, appreciate the comment, the Ugly Stik I gave to a friend when I came back to the UK as it wasn't really possible to bring it with me, but I should build another as it was great to fly😀
