I honestly fell for it. When Makoto betrayed his crew and started that whole rant, it felt so natural that I thought that this is the big conclusion, this is what it all lead up to, they messed him up. And now his father, who barely seems to care about him, kills him to save his own skin. Makes sense, such a good ending to this amazing anime. SIKE, no he is actually fine and everything is cool between everyone. This anime has drug dealers and child trafficking but killing one of the main characters is just going too far?

Went from extremely dramatic to one of the most chaotic celebrations ever

I hate how every character lives, and the only actual character death is Makotos mom. Not even Dorothy dies, after being shot and falling into the ocean with weights on.

When I first saw this, it was a Party in the USA meme. I started watching the anime just for this scene. It was even more hilarious with context.

It was amazing how edamura finally fooled Laurent for atleast a little while and still made the operation work out even though it was so risky❤

Man, although I really enjoyed this show, I was unimpressed with them using the fake blood trick THREE times. The first time was awesome, second time was weird, third time just had me thinking "are they out of ideas?" Like I don't necessarily want Edamura to die, but DAMN that would've been one hell of an ending! Or at least use a different trick. I still greatly enjoyed this show though, but I just think it fell a bit flat.

The one thing I dislike about these kind of animes is that the characters with amazing potential are not given enough of an opportunity like big action scenes or mind-blowing planning with them alone in the limelight...like Edamura in Great Pretender and Sakura in Naruto 😢
