Highlights from the Great Southern Steam-Up held in Gembrook, Victoria in November 2023 - indoor running of live steam Gauge 1, G-Scale and 16 mm garden railway trains. GSSU is an annual 3-day indoor steam-up featuring multiple running lines on both 32 and 45 mm gauge track. It is organised by our friends in Melbourne, Victoria and is held in the wonderful Dandenong Ranges, home of Puffing Billy. We are already looking forward to next years' event to be held in Gembrook on 8-10 November 2024; details of pre-registration are available at greatsouthernsteamup.com

Rails in the Garden are a group based in NSW, Australia that meet regularly to run our live steam and battery-electric trains on 32mm and 45mm gauge tracks at events held in member's gardens and at regular indoor exhibition events. We cater to all the common garden scales including Gauge 1, 16 mm, G-scale and 7/8ths scale.
We produce our own quarterly Australian magazine devoted to the garden railway hobby and subscription enquires are welcomed by e-mail: magazine@ritg.org.au
