Man, love that brass clip. Oh well. The lanterns are absolute gems. I have the older one (pro 2 in copper) and love it. Perfect bedside light. Wish they'd kept the magnetic charging port on the bottom. There's a mini version as well and it has some nice features like a vibration when it swaps to white light. But the light quality isn't as high. Both the warm and white lights are cooler than the larger version. And I'm all about my warm and neutral lights. Got the seeker pro in neutral 😁

The O-Clip has become my keychain EDC and I carry a light everyday. The fact it can clip or stick like a magnet is awesome. I think it’s good for anyone.

I think O’light reinvented tube flashlight(from nitecore) it’s soo amazing idea, have a clip, spring action clip actually and TYPE-C!!!. It can be fit in so different ways what I can’t imagine. I really want have a compact(as Tube) flashlight with white/red light, and horizontal orientation. Only what I found close to my need is a Wuben G2. Holster is great idea, it’s always problem have a good clip on heavy flashlight.

Seeker 4 Pro would be a good upgrade to my Seeker 2 EDC. I actually like the idea of the Oclip, just throwing them on stuff while working to have little lights in tight places. Seems like a hands free light that you could stick anywhere.

The oclip is pretty cool. It would be nice if they made a head strap for it, it could work really well as a small headlamp. I'm sure it would be pretty easy to make make one.

@@JokerInk-CustomBuilds That would pretty much work. The only downside to me is only 1 minute of runtime at 300 lumens then it goes down to 180. That's still plenty bright for doing basic campsite stuff like walking to the bathroom though.

@@mushieslushie yeah, thats pretty short time... If you want a top tip, then buy the Olight iMini EOS keychan light. It has a magnetic base and turns on when you pull it oof the base. It uses three small buttoncells that last a long time. It is not very powerfull, but if you tie a necklace from paracord and attach it to that it is an awesome thing to help you navigate those bathroom visits, finding keyholes and other cases like that. I find it super handy to have around my neck and it is small enough you can hold it with your lips! -I have an edc video on my channel where I show it off if you are curious.!

They catch a lot of hell, but I’ve had more problems with my Surefires, than with Olights. Surefire did take care of me though.

The holster for the Seeker makes me think they are going for the duty light market. And I think it fails for two reasons. 1: The Javalot Mini is a better duty light. 2: While novel, the charging holster is added bulk and complexity for something that is likely to see a lot of bumps and scrapes. And getting it on and off a duty belt if it dies in the middle of a shift would be a pain.

Just a thought... (Get a battery bank rated to the output you need, a utility pouch sized for the battery bank, and a short c to c cable and you can charge your light while it's still on your belt in the holster. Since the cable is plugged into the holster you'd still be able to draw the light as needed.) I've contemplated the light myself and prefer a horizontal set-up so I'd also order that separate holster. I'd had a thought of mounting the vertical holster in my vehicle so I would just need to move the light from holster to holster when I got in my van to give the light a charge while driving. It'd only cost around $13 for the second holster. Run time on the light is 11 hours at 300 lumens on medium... so charging shouldn't be an issue for extended use at moderate levels. Can't imagine the use case for using a handheld light at blinding high or turbo modes for extended time but you'd only get about two and 1/2 to an hour under those conditions regardless. If you are using your lights like that you'd probably want two and rotate use. Give them time to cool and charge maybe?

@@JakoshdwI have two Javalot Mini’s precisely for this reason. And I’ve found the vibration function on them to be exceedingly helpful for knowing when to swap them out. I carry a back up light on me if my main dies on a call. But it’s nice to be able to just swap them when I eventually make it back to my squad. As far as the battery pack idea for the Seeker; I’d have to hide the cord on me very well and simply pray that it doesn’t get damaged when I eventually get in a tussle. I also don’t relish the thought of having to add another thing to the 30lbs of other things I already carry. The Seeker 4 seems like a good light, just not for me. 👍

Yes cost, but also bulk and strength. Modularity is nice, but it does come with draw backs. For some situations it is better to have a tool do one thing really well, than many things poorly. Don’t know if it applies in this situation as I’m not particularly interested in the Seeker. But I could see how someone would prefer the one piece design.

I've seen so many rotating phone cases fail that I'd have been hesitant to get one if it rotated. The fact that they have fixed horizontal option for so cheap impressed me. For $13 extra I'll have both options and I can use the included mounting bracket to mount my extra in a vehicle.

Personally, I think that the Seeker 4 Pro would be a great survival light especially since it has a good balance of throw and flood as well as the 4600 lumens. Still doesn't hold up to a Marauder Mini on flood lol.

Yeah i had that pry bar sitting in my cart waiting for the sale to start because i have been looking into pry bars lately anyways. I wish however I waited to see this video before buying because i didnt really think about the adding the pens to get more discounts. I had looked at the mininoen but i wasnt sure how good those were even though i know the regular sized one is fairly popular. Anyways i got the pry bar and the otacle razor knife thing. And at least i got a free flashlight. And i will say those small keychain flashlights are quite good as i bought one on fan day and it really shocked me.

I hate that crap that Olight does when they make some thing that no one else can get just because you went to the Stupid fan day event you get a brass one. It rubs people the wrong way because all they get is this basic black one. It rubs people the wrong way, and then they could also have made thousands of dollars off of giving everyone an opportunity to have a brass one if they wanna make it in the special color that’s fine but save that special materials so that everybody can have an opportunity to get one.

exclusivity drives sales. think about it...it makes you care about a model that maybe you wouldn't have before. I'd say they know EXACTLY what they are doing. You should have seen the reaction of the people when they announced it, you would have thought it was Christmas.

Nah. It drives sales when they can sell another 3000 of them in brass. I’m just pissed because brass is my favorite material and now they’ll probably do either no more brass or cracked brass which I don’t like.
