I took my kids to the water park...omgoodness like 20 years ago. Times I will never forget, and from time to time the kids still talk about it. Good quality family time, Amy it's something you always take time to do for your family. Hope all is well...love ya much

Hi Amy, It’s magical what that water park does for children. It is exactly what your sweet momma would have wanted you to do. You all needed this reprieve. God bless. I hope you do not mind but like to offer some suggestions to the Marion community. Recommendation that you request a microwave in the room for medical reasons. Hotels cannot deny request because it’s medically necessary. Take a kettle and an electric skillet. Be prepared to over pay for all food on the property. Pizza use to be $19.99 plus tax for a large which is more like a medium. Family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) we go through at least 4 pizzas. No outside food allowed at the water park. Try the Cajun fries!!! They offer water inside of the park. We bought sodas for the children. **Request an room upgrade if it’s off season. We got a two bedroom, living room with 2 bathrooms for a small up charge. Take a big cooler because the fridge is very small. I pre-cooked some meals that I could heat on the skillet. Pancakes, waffles, eggs and bacon. Soup. Spaghetti. Kettle super helpful for coffee, hot chocolate and ramen. Take utensils, mugs and disposable, cups, plates, napkins and paper towels. Took a small drying mat, sponge and dishwashing liquid. Disinfecting wipes and trash bags. They do not clean the rooms until you leave.

Looks so fun! This location is actually only about 40 minutes from my house. :)This is also the town where I do all my grocery shopping. It is a nice little town. Although it is so close to our house, we've never been. I just wasn't sure if older teens would enjoy it as much as younger kids and pre-teens.
