The famous most eastern town in Norfolk. Great Yarmouth ist die östlichste Stadt an der Küste Norfolks. Music: "Ibiza" Album: "Island of Dreams" from Highland-Musikarchiv.com
I cannot believe this was 25 years ago today! I have lived in Great Yarmouth all my life and enjoyed all the attractions. I really miss the 90s. The seafront looked fantastic with the illuminations on the promenade. Great memories!
Great video we used to visit Great Yarmouth in the 80s and early 90s every summer when I was very young. We stayed at Hemsby and used to go into Yarmouth nearly every day. Happy happy days👍
I was there that year with my parents, I was 13ish so so nostalgic watching this, and fills me with a sense of real sadness of the world and the country we live in now.
I was born in 2000 but this video is giving me some weird nostalgia kind of feeling. It has that sort of vibe as if you're remembering "the good old days" if you get what I mean.
brilliant!, in 1994 i was 13 so deffo still when i was holidaying there every year...............mind you its only an hour up the road now we still go for days out now with my own kids :)
Ive been going here since the early 1970's. I'm now 40, and Yarmouth hasn't really changed since then! (apart from the giant at the roller coaster) I also think this is a good thing. :-)
It has now sadly a large section of the shops on the seafront got bulldozed a few years ago to put a new swimming pool in. The amusements on the opposite side of the road are the same thankfully and the Pleasure Beach is pretty much identical to this video (apart from you have to buy a wristband to go on the rides as they stopped doing tokens).
I was born in October of that year... my mum was 5 months pregnant with me then haha. Why can't it be like this nowadays with everyone on the beach like that?!
because of climate change and now there's hardly anybody there except for the poor people during the time it's actually warm, people with money just decided to go to abroad instead
@@danw1374 95 were good summer i remember 95 (which i still count as early 90s) really hot summer. best of the decade. Buy yeah agree 95 was exceptional. remember the fields looking dry and even burning. 93 and 94, werent crap either though. went to reading festival and it was dry and the had been for a while before that.
It has changed alot not for the better the council destroyed the jetty and then gave away money and land to the outer harbour company eastport. The outer harbour has become a white elephant.
