Welcome to the Greater Seattle Hockey League (GSHL)! Since 2001, the GSHL has grown into the largest adult recreational ice hockey league in the Pacific Northwest. With nearly 2,000 players registered and almost 100 teams across 16 divisions & subdivisions, the GSHL is also one of the largest adult hockey leagues in the United States. In this video, we review how to properly suit up as an ice hockey skater.

I don't know why but searching the internet for people that agree with me then watching them do it is so satisfying. I, too, go pants, skates, pads (best way to tie skates).

Weird order to put everything on, but it was cool to see you use the skate lace hook to tighten your laces.

Love watching how other people do stuff... Interestingly you're not wearing a garter belt or Velcro pads on the jock strap. I imagine using Velcro instead of tape on the upper thigh is very common to keep your socks up. Thanks for posting!

How do you hook the velcro???

The mesh socks have Velcro on them. The old school socks don’t so u have to tape.

@@PatrickMcMahon1 The old school socks just stick to velcro, and you don't have to use tape; I velcro my old school socks all the time!

Haha keep them warm lol you sweat so much more on ice and get so hot that the moment you sit down in the locker room, you're dying to get that sweltering equipment off and have steam exhuming like clouds off of you. The equipment is because hockey is the most physically demanding game.. Pretty much football on ice

I kinda like the steps when putting on the bottom half of the kit. Cuz i usually tie my skates last, with the shinpads and socks in the way, its too hard,
