The animation in that scene, especially the attack itself was *SO FUCKING GOOD* I rewatched it first for the animation, then for the music, then for the "victory" feel of it and then for the animation two more times
do you know the joke here? this epic fight is just filler, in the novels Sylvia just died from the cannon that komeko pressed the trigger, the entire fight afterwards never happened
Yunyun: "Feeling the power of everyone in the village, their trust in me their hopes and dreams... i cannot let them down!" Megumin: *channels Palpatine*
KonoSuba is undeniably one of the best examples of a critically entertaining Isekai out there. All you low-tier copy-paste boring Isekais, watch and learn from this masterpiece of a series!
I love how they took the Explosion soundtrack and made it even more epic at 2:44, you know absolutetly what is comming but at the same time you know even the double one with Wiz will be nothing next to this one
the one that commands explosion magic is referenced in several tracks in the movie. my argument for it is that its not megumins theme specifically, but when a crimson demon is about to pull some doomsday level bullshit, this song plays. it plays when yunyun challenges sylvia, it plays during the flashback walking home from megumins school. its not megumins theme, its the clans. megumin has a more chaotic version of it because her spell is more apocalyptic.
Wiz is such a cinnamon roll, you forget that she, according to the generals of the Devil King, harassed and hunted his forces to no end before becoming one of his subordinates. not only that, she's powerful enough to negotiate a deal with the Devil King himself that promises the protection of all humans aside from adventurers and protectors. What's more, she managed to scare Hans, whose only superior in prowess is Sylvia. (At least from what I could gather by watching the anime and the one movie, alongside the two OVAs.
The scene where kazuma gets really mad at arue for making him come to the village the crimson demon rebuilding the village at speed unimaginable is cutted so is the tranquility girl scene and where kazuma gotten the extra skill point for bind and the camp fire scene where kazuma confess about his earlier life frusrration and what made him today
You need to read the Light Novels, Hans in the LN was only able to be defeated because of Wiz. Kazuma lived in the LN, but he gave Wiz all his MP so she could take him down (Kazuma passed out so we don't know what exactly happened). Wiz in the LN is far more badass, and she has her own spin-off which is shared with Vanir where we get her backstory.
@@sadscientisthououinkyouma1867 yea I’m reading them now and sadly the animes can only do so much to keep up and entertain us at the same time. But I’m happy regardless
2:44 building up to 2:59 - 4:43 is GOD tier!!! i had to rewatch that part of the movie a few times. i love that this anime is mainly comedy, yet they can still pull off some impressive serious moments too. binged the whole series in about a week. i would love to have seen the movie in theatres though. if it even was in theatres. definitely more than worthy of the big screen.
idk how tf they do it bruh the creators are geniuses,, for such a light-hearted show they make some of the most EPIC scenes i've seen in anime, and the remix of Megumin's usual explosion theme gave me goosebumps, Konosuba actually gave me goosebumps😭😭
This movie was 1:19 hours of comedy, and inside all that (pure gold beautifully crafted) laughter there was 1 minute, only just one minute when it got "serious". Just one minute was enough. The scene when Megumin was doubting of herself and of her beloved "Explossion Magic" reminded me of my love for anime, as may remind a lot of people of their love for things they feel passion for and other people find difficult to understand. "Explossion magic is the stuff of dreams. It is the ultimate magic that turns the impossible possible".
right, who would've thought an anime who takes the piss on isekai and rpg can be so serious and done so well with insane graphics, kudos to the directors
Oh my God the way the take the explosion theme and change it into a major key, and the reprisal with the Quest Accepted jingle legit gets me emotional.
Man this moment hit hard. Especially because Konosuba has always been a light hearted and extremely comedic anime ever since Episode 1. I still remember becoming absolutely overwhelmed in this one scene!
@@athalarahmanjauhari4135 cut them some slack man, they needed more action for a more impactful climax because it's a movie after all. Also, this in no way "ruined" Sylvia's character.. they changed it, sure, but just because it's not accurate to the source material doesn't mean that it's "ruined"
indeed! The whole piece is incredibly well played! It's amazing that series which are considered to be a parody and one built around a joke have so many great details and hard work
This sound made me dream, my whole soul exulted, as if I was walking in a divine palace. Congratulations to the konosuba team for this laudatory sound which seduces more than one.
This soundtrack is such a masterpiece. A masterpiece like the whole anime is. I watched all episodes and even the movie. I never was bored and I barely came out of the laughing. Such a great anime. It's simply the best anime I personally know. I love it!
Season 3 estimated for 2023. However is now with a new animation studio. (Season 1-2: Studio Deen, Movie: J.C. Staff, Season 3: Studio Drive) Side series with Megumin and Yunyun as center roles has also been announced. Edit: Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! confirmed for April 2023.
the side series is going to cover megumins backstory in more depth than the movie did, and im really hyped for it. theres a couple little things im looking forward to from the light novel (not big events, just minor nods to other things in the series)
after the third minute comes the best part. In the film, this is the moment of Megumi and Yunyun's triumph, when they got all the dark magic power to destroy Sylvia. So why is this part minor and sad? In fact, this is a requiem for Sylvia, a requiem for her love, dream, hope
the whole battle is the blackest and most grotesque joke I've seen in the anime. The "villain" fights for his love, love and hope, and instantly collapses - from black magic and betrayal. Kazuma's betrayal triumphs
Ah yes, the soundtrack so impressive that no one would believe it actually came from comedy isekai anime. And somehow if you edit it into a mecha fight no one would notice any difference from those genre
the last part of this theme does play during that montage. if you are looking for that OST in particular, i think its called "Give us blessings on this journey"
For those who haven't watch please you won't REGRET it make me cried with such inspiration ❤️✨ WE NEED KONOSUBA 3/ KONOSUBA MOVIE 2 THAT ENDS THE SHOW 😭
@@lucysteel2686 turns out I was wrong, lol, the two seasons and the movie adapt 5 volumes, so there's like 6 seasons if the chapter count remains the same, + spinoffs
There is to be a third season!! Unfortunatly we do not know in when they will begin working on it or even if they have been working on it. But, fingers crossed you know. ^^
Let the storm blow! Let the flames roar! Explosion magic is the stuff of dreams! It is the ultimate magic that turns the impossible possible! EXPLOOOOOOOSION!!!!
Este anime es bueno por muchas razones 1 su comedia que dice que parece natural y tener unos OST GUAPISIMOS y creo que mucho se identifican con Kazuma ,para mí este anime será y siempre será el top 1
