I was the guy walking down the stairs in this video I only went to the toilet! Why would I travel that distance to only spend 30 minutes in the stadium
Football is so much like real life. Players who looked like they'd be giants for years (Arshavin, Walcott etc) fell away while Giroud and Martinez won the World Cup playing every game as key players for their teams. Who could have predicted that back then.
What about Olivier Giroud? He also won the World Cup and every trophy at club level, including UCL and domestic trophies with 4 different teams. Gnabry also won the UCL with Bayern, after Stoke manager said he wasn't good enough
@@naniurackass7793 He still misses sitters, Olivier, but one thing about him is he also keeps getting better as he ages like an old wine. Such a shame we were impatient with him. He's about the only Arsenal player that left, or should I say got pushed out and still remained relevant till date. He would have been a great option for us no doubt as OG can really be good in all aspect of the game as a centre forward.. Go watch some of his goals, they can be quite unbelievable!
@@ajibolaogundowole5515 i honestly can't believe you're saying you wish giroud stayed at Arsenal, the past is the past, the team is better in everyway than it ever was then. Giroud is the greatest example of how compliations can be misleading, fantastic goals for sure, but if you're not consitent then you're not good enough to win trophies.
@@youngbuck49 Aubameyang doesn't play for us anymore? And actually, Aubameyang had a better goal and assists contribution relative to the number of appearances he made. Regardless at the end of the day they're both Arsenal players that had highs and lows with the club and they should be credited for their contributions. I just hate that for some reason Giroud out of all players is remembered as this godly player that could do no wrong because "wow scorpion kick". I remember watching him miss goals and losing us games week in and week out, let's just keep things in perspective.
Where are they now? Thomas Eisfeld (born 18 January 1993) is a German professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Regionalliga West club Rot-Weiss Essen. He's 30... Man I remember having high hopes for him...
I don't think he actually left, Sky just portrayed it that way! Seem to remember him being one of AFTV's first interviews and he said he just went for a pint before coming back!
I mean keepers usually get better with age it’s very hard to have a good teenage goalkeeper it’s not just being athletic but also understanding where to be positioned and thinking 3 steps ahead
One of my best performance.I remember I’ve had surprised football fans with other achievements.Over all opponents or rivals always try to avoid Gunners when draw takes place.Me:..So personality is.
Crazy when you think there's two future World Cup Winners in that Arsenal team. I wonder if you said that to me at the time, who I'd have guessed they would be?
A classic football match...! Look at the players...E Martinez 😍 C Jenkinson🌹 Koscielny 😍 J Djourou (c)😍 I Miquel🌹 A Arshavin🌹 E Frimpong 🌹 F Coquelin🌹 T Walcott 🌹 M Chamakh 🌹 S Gnabry 😍 and Bellerin,Sean Roberts,Kanu and Squllachi 💥
تبقى مقابلة للتاريخ ارسنال كان في دلك الوقت قادرا على فعل دلك لانه يمتلك نجوما في خط الهجوم يستطيعون التسجيل في اي وقت walcott. persie .archavin .chamakh
They already lose this match..it’s just because the referee didn’t blow the whistle after 94 minutes..the ref waste the time to make arsenal get 1 more goal
@@peshfra6026 it’s always a minimum of the time specified, in this case a minimum of 4 minutes. There was a substitution that happened in the 93rd minute or so, that would’ve added time along with other stoppages like fouls etc.
Stupid commentator saying the linesman has GOT to see whether it’s over the line when it’s not even obvious it did cross the line. GLT could well have said it didn’t go over.
The Arsenal fans who left when their team was 0-4 down must have felt like complete tits when they found out the result.. much like the Liverpool fans who left for their hotels when Liverpool were 0-3 at halftime during that game in Istanbul.
