IIRC The Kitchen Fight was the choreography they came up with before The Raid, but wanted a bigger movie to put it in - so they went and made The Raid first. Agree that this movie sprawls too much compared to the first, but some of the camera work, cinematography etc is just incredible, even to this day.

Many peoples are misunderstanding about the bat boy, when he killed someone with the ball they laugh. The explanation about that is in the final scene between Rama vs hammer girl and the bat boy. The ball is stuck on the wall!!! That how Garet Evans want to explain if the ball he used is different, maybe made from the steel inside the ball

I realised this video why I enjoy your reactions so much. You literally treat the camera like your mate or at least you talk like your mate is there, so it feels like you're literally reacting and talking to your friend the entire time. I love the last speech, yeah when Hollywood bought the license movie from other continent, its means destroy all in it, the fondation in The Raid is Silat martial arts with original artist, because silat isn't just martial arts, you see the karambit, the bigger one we call it clurit or sickle (in english translate) used to be weapon and works tool, cutting grass to clean fields/rice fields, or for animal feed, cutting fruit from trees that are not accessible and this has been done since the 7th century kingdom era, even silat is also used for health purposes, you see the low stances performed by practitioners in In the film, from a religious perspective, in Indonesia Muslims view a person's morals as an important thing in life, every power they have, must be accompanied by a responsibility that must be carried, that's roughly the sentence that Peter Parker's uncle once said, thanks bro for supporting Indonesia Movies Silat

When you mentioned wanting to have the main guy go against real MMA fighters, the movie Warrior came to mind. It's heralded as the 'Titanic for men'. Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy star in it and they actually had to get in shape to keep up with real MMA fighters who show up in the movie, like Kurt Angle. Nick Nolte also co stars in an amazing support role. You will love that, Ash. It's also a deep-cutting emotional experience. One of the greatest and most underrated MMA films of the last decade. And one of the best films that touch on family issues and the importance of having a father in a household.

One of the things id like about Rama is he actually picked weapons in a fight if he got a chance rather than just pretend to be a strong guy with bare hands. Also he likes to kill some peoples with their own weapons like those three last bosses from this movie

The actress who played Hammer Girl had no prior martial arts experience to making this movie :-) Ash, highly recommend you watch the behind the scenes documentary for the 1st Raid movie. You can find it in parts on RU-vid. I also highly recommend watching Gangs of London. Also directed by Gareth.

Well about Julie estelle aka. The Hammer Girl. She was never been into action movies before (she didnt even know martial arts). She had to go for a training for like 6 months for the sake of this movie and well. It pays off great. So far she's been in Headshot (another indonesian martial arts movie) and TNCFU as the operator (no wonder she looked so badass)

The name matrial art is pencak silat from our country indonesia..and the name weapon is carambit from traditional indonesia too. Carambit use with amry international ,u can google history carambit & pencak silat.

Have you seen many early Jackie Chan movies? There are a lot that are really great. Its a very different style, most of Jackie's movies are a lot more comedic, but the fight scenes are still top tier. I would recommend "Legend of Drunken Master" "Police Story" and "Who Am I" just to name a few. Fantastic reaction as always!!

20:50 - Yayan Ruhian (Mad Dog) and Cecep (the asssassin who killed Mad Dog here) indeed appeared, in pair, on John Wick 3 Parabellum, and became two assassins who didn't get killed by John Wick. The two were defeated, but Wick didn't kill them, instead he said: "See you later." (in bahasa Indonesia: Sampai jumpa), got us--Indonesians--all excited to see them again on John Wick 4. Maybe? 😁 31:23 - the weapon calls "Karambit", a curved blade resembles to tiger's claw. It's not that deadly, until you meet a person who mastered it, like this Assassin guy here. Oh, just a fun fact, The Hammer Girl Alicia played by Julie Estelle, in real life Estelle has a sister who is also a model and ex MTV Asia VJ named Cathy Sharon.

Can't disagree certainly some of the best fight scenes. My absolute favorite fight scene is surprisingly not from a martial arts movie. It's the church scene in Kingsman: The Secret Service. If you haven't seen it you owe it to yourself to watch it asap. The premise is ok and the story is a little corny. But that church scene makes up for all of it. One of the craziest shot fight scenes I've ever seen. The director was pure genius and the choreography had to have been insane to shoot. Truly one of the most underrated fight scenes in history.
