I had to give up everything I loved( boxing, taekwondo and GAA sports) due to sarcoidosis and crohn's disease. I watched all my friends get on with their lives while mine was filled with holidays in hospital. Had 7 operations in 5 years 2 to save my life. I lost my testicle and have an ostomy bag. Had my last operation 6 months ago to fix a parastomal hernia. While I was recovering from that operation I stumbled onto this channel and I can say it has changed my life. With the last 3 months I am working out 5 to 6 days a week. Covering 100 to 120 miles on my bike walking 40 to 50 miles a week and shadow boxing. I know its not much but for me its a start and I'll be dammed if I am going to give up on my life and quite. So I would like to say thanks for posting these motivational videos you have really turned my life around and given my back something that I loved. You have given me my life back along with confidence and meaning...

he ran for something like 8km a day when he was 16, carrying a tonne of weight. When he wanted to join the SBS, he ran like twice that with something around 80 pounds on his back at 6AM everyday before going to work and then the gym in the evening

I absolutely love this. I joined the military because I got sick of being a loser. I wanted to become better. The hardest thing I have done was completing a marathon while wearing a 35 pound pack. I hit two breaking points. But then I thought about what Nims did, and what I was doing at the time was nothing compared to that. That alone gave me the motivation to complete the marathon.

Utmost highest level of respect, after loads of trauma, viewing the movie yesterday on Netflix, and now seeing your speech, I am at highest level of gratitude to you dear Nepal brother, you inspire me to stay strong, to make it all possible again, I had lost all that winners enthousiam because of wickedness, now I stand up and start to strenghten myself again thanks to your inspirations, indeed only me, myself I am like you state my own best self motivator, however we all are a team in this world of people that shall pass on the divine messages. The messages you cary on and share that resides in your divine strong heart is the utmost purest truth you can share to the world. Loads of gratitude and plenty of warm heart vibes to all Sherpa, all Nepaly, tou your family and to you dear Nepaly brother. The many years living in the Arab Gulf, I encountered many nationalities, each time the Nepaly people were carrying in their beautiful hearts a divine strenght and kept it all humbly and shared it only with people that were wise enough to capture what souls they are. Truly, my thanks to you, to all Nepaly, each time I encountered a Nepaly, my heart started living again, smiling again. Dear Nims I have watched the Netflix movie a number of times. I am the opposite of you. I was born with a blood problem. My body doesn't make much blood and the little I have does not carry much oxygen. My parents were told I wouldn't live past my teens. I am now 63 years old because I refused to let others determine my fate. It has not been easy. I often suffer painful episodes but I keep going. Like you, my mum was my best friend and I never underestimate her own determination to keep me alive. I'm African, born on the equator. I now live in the States in Florida where it's nice and warm. When I'm hospitalized the nurses call each other because most people with my illness die in their 40's or 50's. So they've never seen a person so old. Besides my illness I went on to achieve many things that were not expected of me. So when you told that lady not to listen to the others, I knew exactly what you meant. I know I will die, but not today!!!! Thank you for your inspiration and your fearlessness. Where can I get a project possible T shirt? Best regards, Nora Kobusinge

Having served in a Commando Unit for many years i dont think the run of the mill, everyday individual can comprehend what Nimsdai has acheived both on the mountains and in the military. I cant believe he has not had more recognition for his acheivements. Like he said at the end of 14 Peaks: 'Hey guys, Now we have climbed the 14 highest mountains in the world. Right? Lets be brutally honest, If this was done by some european or western climber , the news would have been 10 times bigger than this" . In my eyes hes is a legend.

Just read his book. He's an inspirational character & the things he's accomplished in life ordinary people can only dream of. My grandad ( ex bootneck) always said that the Gurkhas were exceptionally good soldiers. Its in their DNA. Im 55 next birthday and have signed up for the 3 peaks challenge ( i can hear you all laughing now) and lets see whats next...Ill strive to do my best. Too many lazy people in the UK now who waste their lives; pity we are not cut from the same cloth as these real men from Nepal. God bless you Nims.

I admire this bloke however to achieve your goals in life you need support. His wife needs a medal. I wanted to be better off then I am now so years ago I decided to start a business while doing a job that does shift work so I was working more hours within a short space of time and then doing building work on my time off. I wanted to get into property also. It went well within three years I built up a good reputation but I was working every day. My wife also wanted a career but we had children. It came to the point our relationship was that volatile we nearly ended up splitting up as a family. I had to quite the job that was not stable for the guaranteed wage to save my family. Now we are happy and everything is 50/50. You can be what ever you want but you can’t have everything. I think his wife needs a lot of praise for supporting him to go through what he has because she has sacrificed her life to support her husbands dream. We live in the 21st century. Women are not house maids anymore they want there own ambitions. Time is very precious. Don’t wait around to follow your goals. Don’t hesitate. Go out and do it as early as possible.
