Chris and Carol, if you have the time please take a moment and read the following comment… Earlier today I started seriously thinking about why you guys are by far my favorite RU-vid channel, and several reasons came to mind. I decided to list them because in my opinion, the combination of several important factors makes your channel exceptional. Your character as people. (It is quite obvious that you are both pleasant individuals with great personalities) Your professionalism (Even though you travel for a living you both put in a lot of hard work and effort into producing your videos) Your teamwork. (You both excel at different things, and your varied skill sets compliment one another) Your research and helpful tips. (Historical data on the places you visit, plus transportation and lodging information is invaluable. Where to eat and how much it costs converted into dollars. (Again this is invaluable information) The quality of your videos. (The GoPro shots, the HD drone shots, Chris’s expert editing, the soothing background music) It is obvious to me that you both love what you do. (This is clearly conveyed to the viewer when watching your videos) You focus on the positive. (You rarely complain or dwell on the occasional negative events that happen as a part of traveling) You do not argue on camera. ( I am sure that you two have disagreements, but you do not allow them to spill over into your videos. The many different places that you have visited. (You give us a lot of diverse regions of the world to look at) Your consistency. (You upload videos on a regular basis, which we as viewers greatly appreciate) Your adventurous spirits. (You go to some places that many of us are not physically able to visit due to age or limited mobility) Lastly, your loving relationship. (We all would like to have a partner to travel the world with whose company we enjoy!) THANKS AGAIN FOR PRODUCING SUCH QUALITY VIDEOS!!!

Anthony Quinn actually owned property in Rhodes, that was given to him for free by the Greek state as a reward for his great service to the tourist industry, with his leading role in the movie "Zorba the greek" some 60 years ago. I would guess that this property lies somewhere around that beach that got his name. Cheers...great footage.

I love Rhodes. We've been there a few times. We stayed at the Rhodos Palladium near Faliraki. It was a beautiful resort. So many really nice beaches and bays on the island, and the water is so clear and fairly warm. Nudity was very common on many of the beaches

From what I remember, I found tsimbika to be the best beach in rodos. Also prasonisi was interesting. The sea in the beach at rodos town has different colors I believe because it is at the cape where different currents exists at different sides. Also I found batterflies valley very interesting. I stayed at faliraki I remember at a very big hotel, as I worked in the design of a dam in rodos. Sorry that the boat tour was not as you expected. high quality video as always!

I made the same mistake in santorini for the boat tour thinking it would get close enough to go on the beaches, my boyfriend can barely swim so he wouldn’t get off the boat that deep (I also would not have let him with the current). But we still had a great time like you guys! ☺️

The trip does look nice but I've to be honest I'm super happy that we took in may the tour with a huge wooden boat (the pirate ship you filmed at 10:19) with nice and comfy sand bags on the upper deck. The tour lasted 5 hours with a stop of one hour at the beaches / bays so one had enough time for snorkeling and swimming to the beach (with that boat it wouldn't have been possible to go dirrcy to the beach). But it included lots of different drinks including beer, breakfast, a snack (hotdogs), BBQ (souvlaki) and some pancakes all freshly made and grilled on the boat while we where cursing to the spots. They played music from time to time but no real party. But the tour you guys made also looked nice. The stops we had where Afandou, Kallithea and Anthony Quinn. I can imagine the the catamaran is really cool if one can get it privately with some friends. Anyhow the comment is already again way to long, thank for another beautiful video and making me go back in an instant

In Greece boats can’t approach beaches there is a mooring line a d all boats have to moor beyond that. It’s not like thailand etc where all these boats go starting onto the beach. Unless there is a pier a d the depth is hood a big boat Like that can’t get in

Chris & Carol, Anthony Quinn may have lived in Greece at some point in his life, but after he retired from movies, he lived in Bristol, Rhode Island in the USA. He was famous in the area because he was very friendly and would talk with all the locals during his daily visit to a bakery shop in Bristol.

you live and learn :-) secret cave was cool , imagine back when the sea was higher and blasted away that hole . Have only done 2 trips on a boat , in Rio we moored off shore , I swam there and claimed the island for myself . Phuket diving was not cool with all the diesel in the water . Thought I had discovered a new life form , until I realised :-) Given your culinary tastes lunch was not great :-( Jumping off the side of the boat looked fun . I would have made a few ' bombs ' see if I could splash the boat . Nice to see the different types of ' beaches ' Decent sized plates of food :-)

Boat tours are really meant for those that visit during July-August and want to avoid the big crowds (these beaches would be full of people by then) and for those that don't have some kind of transportation. If you have a car, there's no point unless the tour offers a visit to places that it's impossible to get to

You should have gone to Xaraki (Charaki). It is a hidden gem. The reason we moved here 16 years ago.

I guess it really depends on the island because some islands have beaches that are only accessible by boat or off road and in that case those tours very worth it

What a joy it must have been to be out on sea at a catamaran boat. They are so lovely. Too bad it advertised wrong and it didn't meet your expectations. How cold was the water? It seams that the weather has been more bad than good this season with rain and storms. Thank you for this video. It's normal. You guys were there in May? It's not the warmest time to swim in Greece.. The best time to visit Greece is in September. The weather is great, and the water temperature is warmer cause its late in the summer is divine. Enjoy Rhodes it's considered the island of the sun!

Hi Chris& Carol my name is Spiros I live in Denver Colorado but I am from Rhodes. I’ve been following you since day one you miss the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes. I hope you’re still there you need to go to Simi island for sure you need to go to Kalithea Hot Springs with a beautiful beach, you need to hike above Tsambika beach on the top there’s a Monastir to help people that have no kids to receive with the most stunning views from up there and the best sunset. You absolutely need to do the round of the whole island go to the end of the island to Prasonisi. Don’t be in a hurry to leave the island because you did not see nothing.

Took you guys a while to get into the boat trip. lol. But it was a boat trip and not a beach trip which you have done a million times. Glad you woke up. I mean how many times have you been on a boat. And you rented a Fiat Panda! Holy moly. The number one selling car in Italy and 90% of the drivers are the worst drivers in Italy. Whenever I see one, I go "Panda Alert, Panda Alert".

Symi Island is a good suggestion, just make sure to pick up the ferry instead of the small boats due to the winds and waves .....

So gutted that you didn't get to go to Halki as I nearly booked to go 2 weeks ago but didn't as was starting a new job

The Posiden boat tour on Symi is much better.

Sadly you picked the wrong boat trip. 15 of us did the romantica boat trip, similar price. Got closer to the beaches, free drinks all day. Beer, wine and soft drinks and the food was really good, not microwave meals. If you get chance and budget OK, I would definitely try it. We're there again in July and it's on our day out list

I would be so disappointed if I went on a boat tour for beaches but not actually able to walk on the beaches. I would be bored to tears.

I feel soooo bad for you guys with this rip off catamaran tour. They didn’t provide beach access? They offered musaka and salads and drinks. No wonder carol the happiest lady in the world was so perturbed. They ruined her boat trip and you should DEMAND a refund from those animals. Chris & Carol get what Chris&Carolnwant and they wanted a BEACH! Please provide info for the company so that we can report them.

80 euros is a tourist trap price … 160 euros for a couple is too much … with that money you could island hop to 4-5 other islands one way All beaches you (didn’t ) approached are accessible by car … Plus the food was mediocre Anyway it’s an alt way to see the island but thanks no 😎

Absolutely beautiful! I love Greece almost every summer I go there. But this year I have decided not to visit again after everything what's going on with the boat migrant disaster. The Greek authorities watching a boat sinking with 500 migrants. That made me sick know that the Greek government has been so inhumane like many other countries are racist. I dont want to say that I wont never go back there but being there this time with all happening I would not feel comfortable. So I was wondering how do you guys feel being in a place that the system has been so cruel to others? I know you guys have been other places there are also serious problems. I am just wonder if you care about it or you guys just ignore what around to not spoil your trips. Thanks
