We've just watched all six episodes of your travels from the UK through Greece and back home which was super interesting and well filmed. We're thinking of doing the same thing in our motorhome from Whitby in the UK because my girlfriend comes from Athens with an apartment in Corinth also it's a very nice little town with an amazing coastline to Patra where you were I like your motorhome because the garage gives you the space for the scooter. I've currently got a Hymer with an island bed, but I'm thinking of changing it to twin beds and a larger garage for a scooter like yours. Was your Burner Motorhome the best model for space from your research for your scooter making it was it easy to get in etc? Thank you for the great film, Alan and Rena.
The twin beds of our Burstner works really well for us and having the large garage is great. The scooter goes in the garage very easily. We absolutely loved this trip to Greece with our motorhome, the Peloponnese is just stunning. Such a shame we didn’t have time to visit Corinth, but we will certainly do a return visit to the region and will make sure to visit. Best wishes to you 😀
I have found your videos truly inspirational. I have been contemplating a trip to the same area of Greece in my VW Campervan for some time now . Having watched your videos has given me the confidence to go for it in September. Thank you so much.
Robert, thank you so much for your lovely comment. It has made our day. We can’t recommend this trip to Greece enough, we absolutely loved it and we are sure you will have a great time. Best wishes
@@travellerinterrupted2519 I don't have a motorhome YET (!!) but when we go to France with our car by ship, the journey from our home to the port is always part of the exciting adventure of the holiday. You were lucky to enjoy a much longer adventure.
Hi Justin and Vikki, we traveled in May. Spring is a great time to visit, the wild flowers are beautiful and the weather was perfect. Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Watching your video as we are planning to do this same trip next May for our honeymoon! Can you let me know what the border control app is please? I can’t find it. Thank you! So inspirational and a different route to which we initially thought we would take but might change our mind now! ❤
I will be doing this travel next month for the first time in our new motor home. Can someone tell me, when you drive on the ferry, can you stay in your motor home for the duration? I'm travelling with my dog. Thanks
You have to book a special “camping on board ticket” to stay in your van. Ferries in the summer get very busy so best to book well in advance. Viamare are a great company to book through. Happy Travels.
@@travellerinterrupted2519 many thanks for your reply. One other question, my motorhome does not have A SAT NAV, do you recommend having one- or is the iPhone maps just as good I was looking at buying a Garmin camper 770 sat nav. They are expensive, over £300 Many Thanks
Hi guys you have inspired us so much we are going to copy your trip in September/ October tried to book the crossing online and it won’t quote saying you have to ring direct is this the case we would like to sleep in our van . Any information would be greatly received
Hi, sure you will love it. I found the online websites very confusing so we went thru an agent, UK outfit called Viamare, and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the same price as booking online, would highly recommend giving him a call. We’re not on commission, just happy to support good service. Good luck!
@@travellerinterrupted2519 Thank you very much for the information. I gave up with the website and emailed Anek lines only to be told they have no spaces for September/October but said they had space on Bari line not sure what that is and if they do Camping onboard . I will definitely give Viamare a ring tomorrow . Thanks again
