+Ken Schenck You are an awesome teacher. Do you have or know where I can find an outline of all the areas to cover in learning Greek? I.e. Parsing, verbs, nouns, and all the areas to become proficient. I am desperately serious to learn Greek for KNOWING the Bible. I've read the Bible likely 300 times. I am so frustrated that I did not go beyond Strong's sooner. As you know, understanding the Greek meaning has EVERYTHING to do with the original and permanent meaning of the Word. Yes, I want to learn Hebrew too, though will start with mastering Greek to great degree first. Also, what tools do you recommend? Flashcards? (for what areas especially and first in order), songs, charts to reference. Top Books. Do you have a list or good site recc that discusses these things? I don't see the order of how to go about this. Thank you for any suggestions. I realize it may not be convenient to answer in full. I'm open to anyone guiding me for how to approach this, and outline of areas to cover. Yahweh bless you.

They're about the same man. I'm studying Latin and the similarities between Latin and Koine Greek are very apparent. Plus, most people only learn Koine Greek for studying the original New Testament, so difficulty doesn't matter to them.

Ητα replaced αλφα in certain dialects, hence the interchangeability of those two letters in the first declension. Terribe pronunciation especially η. How do you tell the difference between η Ϗ ῃ? Remember jesus crying that he wasn't a λῃστής after they found him with a naked kid at 4 in the morning in Gesthemane? 😂

1 - Unacceptable pronunciation! 2 - Vocative should always be put no matter if it is the same with the nominative! 3 - This is ancient greek. Not just greek! You should know better...

Please stop this foolishness, to pronounce Greek with hypothetical reconstructive pronouciation. We are not sure for how Greeks pronounce the Greek language before two Thousand years ago. However Greek still to be the same language with ancient Greek even if it has some changes. That thing with reconstructive pronouciation is so foolish like to pronounce words: Maid as M(A)-ID or Made as MA-DE
