That little airport is so nice and clean... fortunate you had it mostly to yourself and we love walking to the plane like that. Totally feel you on the last minute bookings we're in the same boat now rarely book more than a few days out. Too bad you couldn't do the approach into Santorini at day time it looked so beautiful looking down on the islands from above. Glad you made it in super smoothly to Santorini... and hat a nice welcome gift 🍷 can't wait to see Santorini during the day!
Yeh we’d have loved to land in daylight as originally planned but pleased there were no more delays/cancellations at least😅 it all went smoothly in the end!
Quite a trip for a short hop, but at least you didn’t have disruption enroute, had airports to yourselves & car hire was straight forward - Super little blue car! Apartment looks great & Santorini looks FAB! Aaah-That little cat must really miss you! Really looking forward to seeing all the sights of the island! 👍

Awww Daisy 🐱❤ It is still weird to see the airports so empty and quiet. It is very interesting to hear about traveling currently, it seems flexibility amd being able to plan last minute is key. That is crazy how much the car rental price changed! We are excited to see Santorini! We have never been but hope to visit someday.
It's still eerie seeing the airport so empty! I don't think anyone could have ever predicted something like that happening in 2020. It's probably a good idea to book last minute these days. Your flashbacks to your adventures are so sweet. You guys always make such amazing memories. We were planning on going to Santorini last year but now it's looking more like 2022. Airports feel post apocalyptic these days but it’s definitely less stressful with less crowds and queues of people everywhere. We love doing the flashbacks of our time as we leave a place, they’re our favourite parts of the videos to look back and re watch, takes us right back to the whole trip! ☺️
Going to be honest, you guys inspire us, not only through your travels, but how great you are TOGETHER!! Going through the whole ups and downs to get to your destination and still be smiling.....so much respect for you both. Keep on being you.... ONE LOVE

Wow that definitely turned into a longer travel day. It was nice to see a flying experience and see what it's like... it has been so long since I've flown. Cute car rental! And nice little apartment. I bet the balconies were lovely in the day with the sea view.
It's amazing and unfortunate that what was going to be such a short trip took you 8 hours. Glad your were able to leave on time though and without any issues from strikes. Love how you two recap the place you are leaving fun to revisit those moments. Excited to see Santorini. Sometimes it's fun to arrive at night and then after a good night's sleep be amazing by beauty in the morning sunlight
Wow SO crazy how quiet the Kefalonia airport was! Looks like it was a pretty smooth flight experience though - seems like you made the most of your longer layover. I bet it was sad to say goodbye to Kefalonia (and your kitty friend ☹). It looks like you guys had a wonderful time there. But we're super excited to see more of Santorini soon!
Each time we leave a place we’re always a little sad for a few days, it’s amazing how quickly a new place becomes familiar and then so hard to leave and head to a new place again.
