Love’s extension last year had very little guaranteed money, but a lot of incentives. I would love to see the final payout from that. And I wouldn’t be surprised if GB does a similar thing again but higher payouts. Love has a tremendous work ethic & is ice-cold calm under pressure. One way or another he’s gonna get paid.

The QB market is broken af. If the QB's ranking in the position doesn't matter, then the market is broken. A QB that isn't in the top 10 or isn't getting his team in the playoffs each year, then he shouldn't be paid as the top 3 in the position.

So Louis mindset is pay an ungodly amount of money and burn your cap space on an unproven talent in JL? Jordan love had 21 of his 32 TD in the last 8 games. 32 TD/ 17 games is 1.88 TD a game. Why pay a high premium for an unproven product when you could let it play out and if JL produces again like the last 8 games then pay him the money he is worth. He isn’t worth 40-50 mil a year right now and that’s just facts 😂

You can pay them what they're worth, or you can pay them more than QB's 5x as good as them. The entire league is doing the latter...the problem is the horrible franchises that don't have as good of a QB will pay out the @$$ and waaaaay overpay just to get a playoff win or two. Trevor has won one singular playoff game and that's enough to get paid more than Jared Goff who has literally went to a Superbowl and just went to NFC Championship....Bums over there in Jacksonville

Teams do not get any deals these days. Even when we thought Mahomes contract was insanely long and was sure to pay dividends to the Chiefs, he's now going to get a restructure. Yes of course, Mahomes is worth it, and he should really be the only QB that "sets the market".....point though is that even the Chiefs are not going to reap that discount they were planning on getting.

When you look at that list do you think any of them are worth all that money. It’s crazy how quickly the QB market got screwed up. That stupid contract Watson got in Cleveland, then NY pays Jones… Hurts and Burrow have both been to a Super Bowl recently but haven’t looked like that guy since.
