Could you guys do some videos on fishing pressured bodies of water for Muskie? I’m in Pennsylvania and there is only one lake near me with Muskie, but everybody fishes there (mostly for bass, but also for catfish and perch and panfish), so it’s very heavily pressured. Thanks

Did anyone else get a peta fish add before the video? Opening scene was a bunch of tuna on the deck 😂 they probably shouldn’t have picked such a tasty fish....anyway Couldn’t imagine a two fish night with fish of that caliber! Now get out in that ice and set some tip-ups 🤙🏽

Great fishing, but we need to think about stress mitigation, especially in summer. WAY too long on that 51 for still pics and on the board. We don't know how much delayed mortality there is out there in warmer water. We do know it causes extreme stress in Muskies, and in turn, that suppresses the immune system in fish. I'm a former fish pathologist, so I do have expertise in this area. Not ripping on you guys, but we all need to think about this as we move forward. Quick hoist, face the video camera, quick measure and in the water. You can get your still pics from the video footage, I have done it, it's relatively easy.

Great post, seems like everyone has to have that bump board shot, then the hold them up for the camera shot, as if someone is going to lose a sponsor if that isn't done.

How about not fishing for em. Then no stress at all. Or maybe, no videos no pics either. I like seeing the measurement I'd even like to see weight. If your so concerned about it join People Eating Tasty Animals and stop fishing all together.

Whatever what? Use your words. So a video, and a weight, and a bump board session, and then another 15-30 seconds for still shots on a stressed fish sounds legit? Nobody said not to fish for them, the concern lies in the time the fish is out of water. Tell you what, the next time you catch a muskie, I want you to sprint a hundred yards, and then I will hold you underwater, until I get a bump, a weight, and a selfie. Sound good? Its not about Peta, its about upping the survival rate of a stressed fish. Expecting another "whatever" so, surprise me...

@@300norma I don't fish muskie. If you watched the same video as I did, maybe my eyes and ears deceives me, they held the fish in the water for awhile, mentioning letting the fish rest before taking them out of the water. I guess I've seen so many worse incidents of holding them out to long that this is so much less egregious that it didn't bother me. But again if it is so disturbing to you, don't be a hypocrite, don't do anything that will distress the fish. I'm just saying don't advocate half assed measures that suit your line of beliefs. Go all the way and stop causing any stress of any kind.
