@@isaiahrosner3780 yeah, people tend to forget that he lives in the Northeast, not in Wisconsin, so he got fucked over by Fox switching to Dallas v. New Jersey Giants.
You should’ve simultaneously flashed Tom’s reactions to every missed field goal, with you laughing in the background every time Crosby missed it, that would have been golden!
I was listening to the game in the car with my father, taking a long road trip. I'm a Packers fan and since he's from Ohio State he's a Bengals fan. The fourth quarter was a bunch of incoherent screaming from both sides, but by the time overtime hit we were laughing at how terrible the kicking was and praying for a tie. Great bonding moment from the new greatest game.
YOOOO i almost had this exact scenario, my mom's from GB and raised me a packers fan because it's the only sports team she cares about, while my dad is from Minnesota and has always been a vikings fan, so he'll always have a good laugh at our misery. My dad and i were driving home to MN from a weekend in SD, while listening to the Cinci radio broadcast on siriusxm and just busting a gut the the whole way home. The cinci radio guys were so goofy, we were both loving it though. The best part was checking into DETvsMN, which felt like both teams were trying to throw the game the whole time, during commercial breaks, and laughing at that as well, both of us were happy with out wins though lol
As a Bengals fan, I was excited for this too. Congrats on the win! That was probably the most intense game I’ve seen since that game versus the Steelers in 2016.
Fox is shit and now they’re broadcasting the game we have with you guys today also. Oh, and hopefully both side have a good game without the refs screwing over either team.
2018, week five: Mason Crosby missed five field goals against the freaking Lions. 2021, week five: Mason Crosby missed three field goals plus a missed PAT against the Bungles. Mason Crosby might have been experiencing nightmares every night before week five...
Bengals fan here: This video is glorious, as well as that game in its own way. Even though we lost, at least both fans shared a collective moment in sports history. Good luck Cheese Heads! You guys are definitely a great fanbase. ✌️
For those who did not have the pleasure of watching this game, allow me to put how great this game was: I, a tried and true Chicago Bears fan, watched every single ounce of this showdown. The Packers and the Bengals. Justin Fields’ Bears nearly kicked off before the 4th quarter ended, and I did not turn the game off. As my friends told me the Raiders looked depressing and the Bears appeared ready to strike, I told them to turn it off, and put this masterpiece on. After watching this game unfold, I did not care the Packers won. I was just glad I was able to relax, and watch a football game without repeated spikes in blood pressure, frustration, and excitement. That is how great this game was.
watching this after the divisional round.....this game predicted a lot of things: Burrow trying to be murdered by his ofensive line, and the Packers special team inaptitude to do something xD
One of the best games I've seen! Gutted my Bengals didn't win but prove we're heading in the right direction. Last year we would have shipped 40+ points
I've been waiting for this in anticipation. I listened to the game on the radio and only got to see the final few minutes and OT as bonus coverage. You did a great job, Tree. I didn't even mind reliving the pain
Oh, trust us, we Packer fans KNEW we weren't going anywhere. We had f**king Moe Drayton ruin our special teams to where its fertile ground has been salted to oblivion. We were screaming for the Packers to fire him before the playoffs, knowing he would cost us a shot at the SB, and we were right.
I went to this game. I am a lifelong Packers fan that was born in Wisconsin. I have lived in Cincinnati since I was three and this is the second time I’ve ever seen the Packers play. Mason Crosby’s kicks looked like they went in every time, but then you saw the replay on the Jumbotrons and they went wide. There were so many packers fans where I was sitting and it was an emotional roller coaster for us during the last 5 minutes of the 4th and during OT. I’ll never forget that game for the rest of my life
Stumbled on this a few weeks ago And subscribed.. This is the way sports should be viewed and announced. raw wit savage jabs and eclectic vicious side notes. Love it!
I don't know how hard it is for you to maintain that golden tone, Tree, but you really do have that voice of God quality Facenda had. NFL films should take note.
@Rothr Warek yeah, Cincy has a pretty solid and young team this year, if they keep it up the next couple of years, the Bungals can be a thing of the past permanently
Lmao Tom's reaction to Fox cutting the broadcast is accurate. I remember Cobb made that catch and suddenly the broadcast switched to Cowboys-Giants. Like, I know TV contracts are a thing, but seriously?
@@NovemberOnion Really and truthfully with the talent Green Bay has had for the last 3 seasons they should've won at least 1 or 2 super bowls. But bad coaching has ruined them.
I was there and it was a roller coaster of emotions! I have never seen anything like it in my life as a Bengals fan, but I'm hoping this is a new and exciting direction in the future.
