My sentiments exactly. If they can't beat Denver then they can't beat any team. What a shambles the Packers are this season. And getting worse.

Yes. Now he likely does not get 20. However, he could easily get 10-15 which gives you a shot on 4th down. LaFleur called that play but someone like a Rodgers sees the coverage and takes what he has but not always. Still gets down to stop with the silly penalties that put you in this mess.

Wilson came to the Broncos knowing the state of the offensive line. It’s still not good. When you get paid that much and cost the team all that draft capital you are supposed to cover some of the defects in the team. Now look at the Packers. Rodgers was covering some of the defects in that team year upon year that’s why they lost to the lowly Broncos. Playing ok which he is is not good enough under the circumstances. No fan thinks wilson is the problem this year they are reasonably saying he wasn’t worth it.

The Broncos completely sold off the whole team after the Super Bowl and have never recovered. You can't squeeze blood from a rock in the NFL and consistently beat loaded teams like Kansas City, Philadelphia, Dallas, Baltimore and San Francisco that all have over 6+ Pro Bowlers on the roster.

@@kvernon1 I wouldn't say we've recovered, but winning 2 of 4 is a start. People want Caleb WIlliams to replace Russell Wilson I guess? Like I said, when we win I'm happy. The goal was to "win now" regardless of how long it takes. Obviously being 2-5 is not good, but we have to keep the mindset that everything is possible, including the playoffs. I think our fanbase is fed up, and why wouldn't we be? We traded Von Miller to "save money", gave Russ a contract that he didn't earn, cut McManus for really no reason, and we've lost 16 times in a row to the same team. We all want it to change, and I guess some people think the only solution is to blow it up and start from square 1. We're kind of just in the middle and people think it's not rational to lose a bunch and half rebuild. It's complicated, as is our entire organization. It'll get better, but the Denver fans just want it now while wandering in a losing abyss for the most part.

It was hardly a "beautiful comeback" when a holding penalty early in their final drive pushed them back beyond the 50-yard line, putting Love in a position where he had to gamble with a long pass.

Because LaFleur called that play and Love does not have the mindset nor the awareness to override a call the way his predecessor did. At least not yet. Happened in Vegas as well. He is not seeing the whole field.

I've enjoyed seeing Russ do better than last year, we needed GB to lose today so it was extra nice seeing Denver win today.

Receivers can't create space... They're fairly well covered most of the time. When Russ is quicker to use his legs, it creates problems for defenses (as long as he can hold onto the ball without fumbling.)

@@haqiyoo Surely it must be my lack of football acumen, but I saw a very solid QB performance out of Russ. Now, I know he was acting non-blue collar-like for a while. But, that is behind him. And, I know that big-time dough was spent on him. But, he is not dead weight, nor a bust. Peyton Manning was a shell of himself and they won a Superbowl. The season is young, but their division is tough. But, football is tough. I saw a very competent QB in Russ during this game. Still elusive and fast. Can still pass.

We need to plan for the future and have a younger QB for when Payton wants to move on fro Russ. Sure Peyton won a SB for us but he was no where near the reason we won. I'm just tired of the QB carousel we've been through and think its finally time to look ahead. If we can get Drake, Caleb or Penix next draft my bet is next year will be our last with Russ as his guaranteed is done after 2024.

The Packers are a TEAM, not a player. Rodgers is gone, but so are all the key receivers (Adams, Lazard, Marquez-Scantling, Tonyan) and their best offensive lineman Bakhtiari has barely played the last couple of years. Rodgers seemed to be declining last year, missing lots of easy throws, and his salary was ridiculously high, but he still demanded more. This has nothing to do with being "a true Packers fan"; Rodgers wanted to go and there is no guarantee we'd be much better if he was still here.

@@kvernon1 Lazard has never hit 1000 yards, Tonyan had 11 Tds one time in Rodgers MVP year and then he sucked, MVS dropped a lot and was only a average deep threat and also never topped 1000 yards, other than Adams, Rodgers made those guys who they were. Rodgers was missing throws bc receivers were running wrong routes and also they dropped a lot of ball bc the packers were top 5 in dropped passes last year and the defense was ranked 17th in ppg. Rodgers is the only reason they were an 8 or 9 win team. Those guys aren't even #2 WRs or TEs

Also Bahktiari was hurt last year as well. Rodgers "down year" was still better than half of the QBs last year while had no weapons. Don't Watson is good because he is so overrated

If they had kept Rodgers he would have suffered a similar injury with this Offensive line and Love would be playing anyway.

@@peterbuchholz1735Clifford actually looked pretty sharp in pre season. If Love has another half next week of 60 yards passing, they need to think about benching him. They have nothing to lose.

Yeah. But that blunder by the officials was made possible by Love's inaccuracy. You watch him time and time again putting the ball on the back shoulder of the reciever when the ball is supposed to be thrown to the lead shoulder. That INT, the Hot potrato TD and the throw where Watson got hurt due to his inability to throw accurately.

And... Surtain caught the ball. The GB player had his hands on top of Surtain's hands, not the ball, proving Surtain caught it and the GB player was trying to fight for it. That was a typical NFL ref call, favouring the Packers and taking a dump on the Donkeys. I'm very surprised they didn't get Simmons for PI on Locke's interception because the NFL refs will call the slightest contact on some teams and other teams are allowed to completely mug the receiver.

Don't get your hopes up. This is Russell Wilson, his play is erratic and inconsistent. Russ will give you some hope, then crush you next week when he misses open players and/or fumbles the ball.
