Relive this memorable Packers game that saw MVP QB Aaron Rodgers go off for 408 yards, his third career 400-yard passing game as the Packers routed the Broncos, 49-23.
yeah to bad packers won all them games in 2011 season 15-1 and losing to giants in playoffs . refs was trying to give that game to the packers but giants didn't let it happen .. i remember that game like it was Yesterday .
The reason why this team was so good was because although teams threw a lot on us was our secondary wasn’t the best but we had guys who were able to make plays like Woodson, Clay, and Shields. Plus the offense was sooo god every throw by Rodgers is just amazing. So fun.... the chiefs remind me of this team with a Mahomes looking like a young Rodgers
When the offense was amazing and the defense was pretty decent. Love davante and I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Allison for the most part but we need an elite option alongside Adams...Draft we need edge rusher o line safety and wr. I would accept an rb if someone falls
I've been watching a lot of these Obersports videos (excellent work, by the way) and it seems to me that if they bring back Jordy, especially after getting rid of Cobb, Jordy could catch just about anything thrown to him regardless if it was in single or double coverage. So "losing a step" wouldn't mean that much with him, since getting beyond coverage didn't usually make any difference with him. And the chemistry he had with Rodgers was just amazing, and the younger receivers could learn a lot from him as well as from Adams. Hell, they brought back Tramon Williams when he had lost a step or two, so that argument coming from management is pure bunk.
Driver, Jennings, Jones, NELSON, Cobb, Finley..... I always liked Starks, he ran straight up but he always ran hard and had good hands, and he understood blocking. That receiving Corp was insanely good. Rodgers pretty much had a guy open on every snap.
yeah it was fun to watch but someone being a packers fan have to suck really bad winning 15 games 2011 season and GO Won and Done against NY Giants just saying
The only thing incomplete about that amazing season was the playoffs, losing to a subpar 9-7 Giants team who miraculously went on to win the Super Bowl. That was crazy.
Who would've thought the Packers would go on to finish the year 15-1 but go one and done in the playoffs to the underdog Giants, while the Broncos would win their division despite an 8-8 record and shock the Steelers in OT on the first play from scrimmage (RIP DT), you just never know and can't make assumptions as the unthinkable could happen🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I'll never understand how the defense in 2010 had so many injuries that they were a top 10 defense but in 2011, they had everybody healthy and they had the worst defense in the NFL.
Miss this team so much especially the WRs and this secondary Hopefully Jaire plays even better in his 3rd season and king and Jackson plays up to their draft pick plus we add a WR who is even close to Jennings and jordy and cobb Go Pack Go!!!!
rogers is really good QB probably best QB playing today or one of the best and i really believe rogers should have more then 1 Superbowl win . packers better build a Superbowl team before it to late just saying . seem like packers know how to find really good offense players but they suck at getting good defense players in the draft like in late rounds ..packers of today kinda reminds me of Colts and Peyton Manning playing days .. Colts and Manning can score all them points but never really had that Good defense . i think Colts should won more then 1 Superbowl with Peyton Manning..
Hell yeah sounds like a great alternate reality. Manning with three rings, Rodgers with two, Brady with "only" four. Just a couple big plays away from it.
What the hell happened to this kind of aggressiveness from the Mike McCarthy era? Onside kick in the first half, targeting the middle of the field, going for it on 4th down, screaming at the offense for not scoring more in this game. You couldn’t even recognize them from their 2018 campaign.
I’d also like to see some kind of medium to major pickup before the deadline. I think Amari cooper would be great for the right price. Not a 1st but I’d do a second... I know he has his drops but he is great.
This is the first time I watch this since the start of the 2019 season... but I think that Broncos QB Orton seriously looks like Gardner Minshew... am I right??
Packers had a good start in 2017, until Rodgers was hurt. Green Bay since then might be headed downhill. Coming from a Vikings fan, we're sorry Green Bay, but we had to.
Well, to be fair, it did expose a lot of flaws with the packers and Rodgers masked them all. A complete team would have overcame the adversity of losing their QB and still have a successful season and you guys also had to learn that the hard way too that year when you faced Philly in that title game.
