My favorite album by them, an unpopular opinion. That headache idgaf rough, teethgrinding, cheekcringe feeling is liberating. Don't get me wrong. The albums before this are memorable and rightfully recognized. But this one slipped under the radar and stands out to me. This realization even surprised me. Anyone agree?

I totally agree! Insomniac is definitely underrated and falls behind as a follow up of Dookie. Don't get me wrong Dookie is amazing but this needs more love

This album is my go-to when I'm feeling anxious/on edge or even angry in a punk rock sort of way. And it came out the same year I was born haha. I wish I was around to see them live during this time; their energy in the early to mid 90s is unmatched.
