This is the whole surprise show of Green Day at The Marquis in London the 9th of november of 2023, it was played in its entirety in acoustic. This show contains the first performance of Walking Contradiction in 22 years ! The video is taken from the official Instagram acount of Green Day.

Total unbiased opinion. Knew a few songs that they did back in the day. Have Heard of them. Meh! Been busy w my life! This pub gig blew my freaking mind. They are freaking legends now in my head and heart. Such an epic performance that will go down in the annals of the history of cool shi* happening. I was such an ignorant idiot and Green Day is the absolute shi* after watching them crush this pub gig. They totally did! I am obsessed with them now and I am better for it! Real music legends do exist! It’s not just a myth! Thanks so much! Peace and love!

How incredible would that have been to be there that night. Extremely jealous!!!!! Although I guarantee I would not be holding my phone up the whole time in a feeble attempt to record this spectacular experience...definitely a quick 30 second maybe a minute clip & then it would have been put away to savour the moment. 😀

It's a Catch-22. You can watch almost every show on the tour so far, in full, because someone recorded it. Berlin got a proshot, which was AMAZING. I hope this energy continues on the American leg, and I hope someone records MY show in August. Because I won't be. We'll be drinking our wedding champagne we've been saving for the last ten years, and enjoying every second.

I doubt people in there having a pint or 2 knew what was gonna happen prior to green day turning up but Jesus man put the phones away. The people in there don’t know how lucky they are to be in there at the right time. Class from Green Day though. I’d have cried and nearly died being that close them.
