Same, was completely shattered for 2 days after. Also the fact that I managed to catch covid (or at least sth that feels like covid, haven't tested tbh) didn't help at all lol. But defo worth it, my first time seeing them in person or in general attending a show that big.
LOL to these comments. I've skipped the gym all week, couldn't face it coz crippled still 😂 and I'm finally sounding less croaky. I don't think I'm as young as I used to be 😂
I have been to alot of gigs, and Greenday are the best live band I've ever seen. The energy, the atmosphere from the crowd and band together. Truly a magical experience. Saw them in 2004 American Idiot tour. But this at Wembley was even better. So glad I got to go. Wembley 29/06/24 will live long in the memory.
Exactly this! I don't think I will ever be enthusiastic about going another gig unless it's Green Day. But we will never get this setlist again. All bangers. It felt like it was over in a flash. The post gig depression is real. Although I can't stop smiling❤
What an incredible performance!! I didn't think it would top hella mega but holy shit I will not miss another uk show of there's !! Blown away from beginning to end !!
i went there with my boyfriend! we both loved it. he jokingly acted like he was going to get down on one knee during "good riddance (time of your life)" after billy joe made the joke about "how if your gonna propose do it now", we sung bobby sox whilst kissing and staring deep into each others eyes, held each other during wake me up when september ends whilst i cried, brought greenday shirts and a bag, and so much more. i'll remember this night forever. not only in terms of how great the concert was, but everything in general was absolutely stunning. the crowd work and the care and planning. absolutely amazing.
What a band. What a performance. They are an amazing live act. I was at the Manchester gig the previous week and my God they know how to work a crowd. We hung on every word, we sang, we danced, we chanted , we roared. They are just so good. What. A. Band.
I was there man they were brilliant I was emotional when they played the entire set of my favourite green day album that being American Idiot. And I loved hearing Dookie in full too.
me and my fiance was there and we had a great time it was a great atmosphere and great stage effects it was the first time for me seeing them and i really enjoyed it and the 2nd time for my fiance,, such an amazing night.....love all the songs on American Idiot album
Thank you for this! I was on the lower tier with a great view but your camera is clearly better than mine! To be honest I was rocking so hard I needed both hands free most of the time! Best gig of my life. Went with my 33 year old daughter..she was 5 when I bought Dookie and a teen for AI. I wish I had AI when I was teen! It was a special day. Emotionally charging! Legs and voice box took a battering mind.. But if they were playing again today I would drag myself back there and live off supernoodles until next payday! ❤
I still can't belive that I was there, I spend all my savings and even I'm still in debt , I travel all the way from Mexico to see them the night of my birthday, seems that everything was only a dream, but it was real, I WAS THERE!!! Cheers from Mexico, England. I was only one week there, but I love every minute, hope I can return again to your beatiful country.
Thank you so much for this! Our train down to London, we had to get a later train and it got delayed by an hour so we missed everything up to FOD!! Gutted, but a great night nonetheless.
It looked so good I was going to take my girlfriend at the time and buy her tickets for her 19th birthday which was 23/06/2024 and then her birthday present was going to be this for 6 days later unfortunately we broke up just before her birthday and it breaks my heart I didn’t get to treat her to see her favourite band
Sorry for your loss . I ended up splitting up with mine last year because I managed to buy a ltd edition Tv Yellow. I brought it home and she said “ I take it your not taking us to Spain then ! “ . B..ch was just using me for money for 10 years . Would have been great to see them though 👍
@@africasudcheers man and that wasn’t a relationship that wasn’t love she was using you for your money as you said but my ex wasn’t like that we both just have our own mental problems and it would’ve been so good to be able to go with my ex that’s all she would go on about and I grew to like them aswell now I can’t listen to them 😂
Don’t think any concert could top this. Dookie and American Idiot IN FULL is too much. I’ll remember it till I die. Just wish I had bought pit tickets and not been 2000 light years away :/
The Foos was Special and I couldn't choose between the 2 but I've been waiting years for this gig. Didn't stop singing especially during AI....lost count of how many times I've listened to it all the way through...EPIC but then so were the Foo's
My names Adam that LGBTQ flags mine it wad in honour and memory of my vest mate who passed away from mental health ill never forgthis night am using someone else's account 😂 on his phone to comment this
I had an amazing time. Unfortunately I was forced to stand behind the white line because if there was a fire they would need to evacuate people. If there was a fire I wouldn't be standing there, would I? the fat lady that was assigned to keep people out the fire zone eventually started barking at people, I'm not joking she was actually barking like a dog at people. Another thing, I missed my favourite song, Jesus of Suburbia because there was a fight going on In front of me.
no they are not run of the mill they are special and put on a fantastic show and make great songs ,,,,,100 thousand people cant be wrong... theres no pleasing some people,,,
