Whenever I play this, I crank up the volume and go crazy. That's my norm when playing this. Overall favorite music game and probably my favorite game ever.

i wasn't sure about this at first but after seeing this it looks pretty good. disappointed there aren't any songs from their earlier albums though.

Both of those songs are available as DLC and are playable in the game. (They were released prior to the game being produced.)

@McCarronDrummer You can buy them as DLC in the game itself, via the Xbox Live/PSN/Wii Marketplaces, or via Rock Band 3.

@sander1997 You should be able to use the "normal" 5 button guitars in Green Day: Rock Band, and you may be able to use the Mustang (six strings and buttons), but definitely not the Squier (strings and frets).

@TheCoyote39 They decided to put in songs that from specific albums, along with a few of their bigger hits, rather than some of their deeper cuts off of some of their less successful albums.

You have to complete the goals in the game to obtain the unlockable videos and images.

DLC = DownLoadable Content. You can purchase and download the songs in Rock Band 2 or Rock Band 3, as well as the Rock Band Music Store app on the Xbox 360. The songs are $1.99 each, like all the other official DLC.

@biggjayy21 You can buy the Green Day: Rock Band PLUS Edition that comes with the songs on disc, as well as a free export token into Rock Band 2.

@disappearinglau For obvious reasons, their biggest hits are included on the game. Access to the master tracks from albums prior to Dookie were very difficult to obtain. Don't rule out future DLC, too!

@skippersam41 By cutting out the swearing, they made the game marketable to all ages. If you know where the swears are, feel free to sing them yourself. The quality of the game lies in what IS there, not what ISN'T.

@Guamjowel Woodstock was not included because daylight venues don't look as good and/or as exciting as the darker venues. Full details on my site.

@XxFireDriverrxX Nearly everyone who plays these games prefers studio versions to live versions (you are the first person who has ever request live versions of tracks). The curses are removed so the game reaches the largest audience. If you know there are swears, then just sing them yourself.

@TheFinnism Is that the one from Guitar Hero 2? I'm pretty sure you can't. In fact, I doubt the GH3 controller works, either. From GH:WT on, you may have better luck. Either that, or ANY Rock Band controller.
