What a wonderful and serene forest in Denmark. My father was a saturation diver in Norway during the 70s and always commented in his letters about how beautiful the area was.

Yes, it is a lot of work even for a 2 minute film. I borrowed and used some downloaded Public Domain Footage... the aerial shots because I don't have a drone to film that kind of footage. But most of the footage is mine that I film out on my walks. I always try to have a tripod to mount my smartphone to for filming. I edit using DaVinci Resolve 16.

Tom, Your hands show the true nature of the outdoorsman, Nails that are uneven and broken, fingers that are dirty and stained from the elements of nature and of fire, they demonstrate a rare knowledge of practical use that is not often recognized. A rare treat to see you somewhere other than your shelter! I think it must be very pleasurable to go to a site like this, make some spiked coffee, smoke a pipe and then take pictures and video of the surrounding nature to share with us. It sounds like a perfect afternoon. I also like that although it was a "silent" video, you still acknowledged that we the viewers were there with you. I often feel like I am NOT a part of many of the silent videos that we see today. It feels more like "look at me, watch me!" I felt included in this one. Oh, Today's kids would throw their shirt away if a button fell off. Thanks for a very enjoyable foray into the forest with you!

It is a wonderful camp while breathing good air in magnificent nature. There is no such a vast forest in Japan. Pancakes and jam look very delicious. It was a wonderful video that made you feel relaxed.

Greetings my friend, I am back from my solo winter mountain living, I will be home for about a month getting gear, and supplies ready for the spring and summer season. Winter living in my wall tent in the Backcountry was great, snow is still deep but starting to melt. So I binged watched your videos since the last time I was home. And I tell you buddy they are all spot on and amazing. You are truly blessed. The greatest thing a man can do is to truly experience and be fully immersed in the grandure of the wooded world, in these special places is where we truly find ourselves. Cheers buddy. Nice and relaxing to watch this again, love when you go into the forrest with these setups Tom. 2020 was a horrible year and it is as if we cant escape the downturn of the 20's now with a horrible War in Ukraine/Russia. Seeing these clips is a really nice plae to escape into.

Great to see ya back out there Tom. Ya went and made your camp shelter so cozy ya have to leave it behind cause it's like a second home. Lol. I eat my pancakes with fried apples on em a lot. It is almost like apple pie, I fry em with butter, brown sugar, raisins, and dates. For em over the top on weekends I add caramel syrup, struesel topping, and fresh whipped cream. TC and ATB, Cris.

Nice video Tom. You have a lovely forest there. I see we share another piece of fine equipment; the Firebox Stove. Along with the pipe and the flask...all essential equipment. Knives, saws, axes are important, but the coffee, the pipe, and the flask are equally so.

Of course we have much woodland moss here in PNW but not quite so carpeted and constant.
