Ever since I saw that first Bushcraft video show up on my youtube feed, I have obsessively watched them. It seems like it would be soo refreshing and maybe even life changing to learn this stuff and do a first time adventure alone like this. People who can do this are amazing.
The whole dynamic of you and your videos is so serene. It's very cool. And this old feller always picks up or is reminded of a neat camping trick when I watch you. Thank you so much for your contribution!🤩
I just watched this video and I have to say it's really excellent. While I've watched tons of videos about camping, bushcraft, etc. I find that just watching how you do things and understanding why you do them (and why you do them the way you do them) teaches me a great deal in a way that feels very practical. Many I've seen talk about skills or equipment and seem to be quite good in theory but viewers don't get to see things in practice so, while we may learn a bunch of separate skills , etc. we don't get to see how things all come together in an actual situation where those skills or that equipment is needed. I would also like to note how impressed I was that you lit that fire on the second shot with the fire steel the day after you had a lot of rain! Well done and thanks!
A terrific video "Girl Outdoors"! There's nothing like a nice windstorm to hear natures voice. Being alone in the wilderness "off the beaten path" is an experience that we all could benefit from. Its great therapy! Thanks for sharing!
Great video Becky !! You've become a bushcrafter, " par excellence ", and your skills would be welcome on any expedition ... stay well and safe ... Cheers.
nice!! watching you firemaking and working around camp produces a very calming effect on my mind... lots of rememberances about my childhood in Patagonia, where I did such things every day
Beautiful forest, natural silence, the crackle of wood and the warmth of the fire, camping food it is always beautiful, what else do you need for happiness? Videos like yours are very motivating to take a backpack off the shelf and go wandering through the forest trails. And I am one of those people who became involved in tourism after watching a video on RU-vid. And you continue to draw me into this hobby more and more..... Thank you for the pleasant atmosphere.
what a talent girl .. awesome dad you had ..lol I'm a dad so proud cause my daughter's a nurse and my youngest boy is going in the army soon .. but you kid .. awesome in a totally different way .. hats off to you .
That´s an excellent way to finish off "2019" and yes I agree with you Outdoor girl, being out in the woods is very relaxing! greetings from a small rural town in the State of Jalisco Mexico!...Adam
What a wonderful adventure. It looks brilliant out there. You’ve got some mad axe skills (and sharpening skills). It’s so calming outdoors and you make it looks so easy (and it’s not!). Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wow..You are really starting to become efficient and proficient with ur tools and cutting etc. You can really see a progression of someone who is knowledgeable and comfortable with outdoor tools. Nice job!!! Nice Vid!!!
you have to give a great deal of respect to such a young lady to be able to go alone into such settings and attain her idea of peace and harmony... becoming one with what our ancestors faced dailey. I don't see an I phone or computer, I see nature and beauty!
It’s very nice to see that are there still some people with the natural human being feelings of interaction with the natures of our lives! I was raised on the mountains and it used to be tough! My last adventure took me 8 hrs walk to get to my waypoint and I wish I had all the resources you have ..kkk ! I had on me just my big knife 🔪 and my rifle! And I spent a week in the middle of forest 🌳 hunting! Built my tent 🏕 with woods and leaves of wild coconuts 🌴! Today’s day things are more comfortable with some tools ⚒️! But I’m really glad to see you girl showing to some parasites 🦠 people how life can really be wonderful when you enjoy the natures of our world! Thanks!!
Massive respect to this beautiful Sis for her camping skill😊🙌🏻your very talented✊🏻 even ima guy I never done that lol 🙇🏻♂️ ♥️ from Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾✌🏻✌🏻God blessed you always🙏🏻
It's great to be able to show my son that both boys, girls, men and women all enjoy camping in the wild. I'm astounded at the sheer size of your bag at the start but then when you bring out the wood stove it all starts to make sense. Still, it must have been a tonne. Love camping wild, love seeing enthusiasm. Keep doing you.
So beautiful! So smart! So smart and strong! Wish I could find a girl like you in the u.s! Honestly I do! Thank you and keep it going! Awsome just awsome!
Imagine inviting this girl out on a saturday and when you come to pick her up she's standing with her backpack and a axe in her hand saying 'thought we were going OUT'
Well done on all your hard work preparing the site. Scotland was beautiful but it's also nice to see you back home in your natural environment in the woods. You look very professional in your chosen gear, which always looks almost military or space force style to me. In fact I bet you'd be right at home on some distant forest world and I bet the Ewoks would love you! :)
Looks good to be out there ( sad to be saying the following though....you've set the lavvu up inside out - the storm flaps should be facing out to prevent the wind and rain from getting in...).
I just bought the Lavvu two weeks ago cant wait to use it. Got a four pound Winnerwell Titanium wood burning stove I’m excited about It too. Looks like fun. Cheers
Hello Becky! Glad I just discovered you. Beautiful channel, amazing adventure, we love learning with you. If my daughter grows up to be as awesome as you are, I'll be one happy mamma :-)
I was watching the 300 days alone-the movie that youtube recommended me.. then after I suddenly came across here.. I now love watching survival videos like this!! Wooh wish Im living in a country side or atleast near th ocean. Im so bored at home☹️
Haha seems I'm binging your videos, I love them. It's so fantastic to see someone else who's got such an enthusiasm for the outdoors and adventure. I'm sure other RU-vidrs do too but they're more stuck for things to say and/or just filming as they trek. You're more natural and fluid how you talk, and never seem bored or anything with the experience and such. It's also unusual to see such a long period of bushcraft in the UK, that's great!!!! I wish I was independent like that :') and the stove, wow I've always wanted one! :D you're very knowledgeable and experienced, I'm very impressed with everything :D
Hi Becky... This video popped up in my recommended feed, because I watch Survival Lilly and Wild Woman Bushcraft I guess. It is great to see a British person doing these camping and survival/bushcraft videos and I look forward to seeing more. Keep up the good work and live the dream. :)
I always thought that the reason people don't have a wood burning stove in their tent was because you can't have a wood burning stove in your tent. My whole life has been a lie!
Your nearly right , it’s charcoal you shouldn’t burn in tents as it gives off poisons that can kill you in your sleep . It was reported about 10 years ago as a family succumbed in the night as they where using it as a heater.
Good job to this young lady or anybody else for getting out in the woods and living it. Im going to make an assumtion based on all the olive drab, brown, and camo your focus is on being not so noticeable. So to all, remember all those shavings from making tent steaks, all the saw dust, and especially the active hatchet work are all signs of either past or present human activity and makes you VERY trackable. Good hunters use their ears as much as their eyes, and look for new shiney wood. It stands out to a tracker like a neon sign. Keep on in the bush and good luck . Great video. Thank you👍
Becky poor girl seems the rain loves you...but not as much as I enjoy seeing you smile thru the whole thing...your tuff. Like always can't wait for part 2. ❤ Texas
I am so happy to be able to heal my mind through your camping video. I will continue to subscribe to your channel. From South Korean RU-vidr Wongkham.👍👍👍
I love this vid clip, very nice colorful spot and relaxing background music so thanks Becky, I like your tent and your stove keep up the good work! 👍🏼☕️🍜🏕, even though it rained and was really windy you shot a good vid!
What a great video, looked like a busy and yet calming trip. Your froggy friend sheltering in the coat was a highlight hahaha, the wildlife didn't even want to brave the weather so hats of to ya
