Hey everyone, I hope you are doing well! Your Medical Genie is back with more updates. This video is a guided tutorial for filling in the health declaration form in order to get an approval from the Chinese Embassy to depart from your respective countries.

Hi, finally I am going through Bangkok, because Bangkok don't need GHC from India and no test before departure from India is required if transit through Bangkok. Just book a ticket and pay 4500 rs then take visa on arrival in Bangkok.

Hello medical genie , i have a question that when should one apply health code for travelling to china via bangkok b'coz now the guidelines says need only one RT-PCR either it's origin country or transit so i was asking that if i do RT-PCR from 48hr prior departure when should i apply for green health code . ? 1-2 hrs before departure or just right after i get RT-PCR test results.? So confused can you plz help me out .?

If it's a 48 hr rtpcr then apply it 12-15 hrs before your departure

Dear, I am planning to travel from Hyderabad to Kuala Lumpur and stay there for 3-5 days in Malaysia. then will travel to Guangzhou my Question is from where i should test PCR I and submit to green code India or Malaysia and there any thing i have to do in India ? Thank you.

You will have to check out the current GHC rules in Malaysia, email them and use the website I've mentioned to find out labs and hospitals approved by Chinese embassy in Malaysia

Yes , if you're traveling through the same route. In total it's 4 rtpcrs from the labs approved by the Chinese embassy

At Neuberg lab you have done rtpcr of which one 24 hrs before one or 48hr before or did you done both on same place with different reagent? Is that reagents are mentioned on report?

You can't choose the same lab for both the tests. I went to neuberg lab for my 1st rtpcr that is 48 hrs before my departure

@@ajaytherocker3261 it actually doesn't seem to matter. As long as the QR code is reliable and clear, it's not an issue

Hi, if I transit via Hongkong. And I will take on arrival visa in Hong Kong then how can I upload rt PCR booking in Hongkong prior even I don't the labs there?

For HK it's a different process. As far as I've heard you need a PAR to even enter. You'll have to search for labs there and talk to the Chinese embassy first

I'm not very familiar with HK route but as far as I know, you'll have to quarantine there, test negative and then only you can come back to India. You'll have to confirm with higher authorities in HK

When I apply for green health code in transit country what should I do ? Should I fill up the entire form again as before like in India? That time what would be my origin country? Thailand or india? My Travel itinerary is India to Thailand and Thailand to China. When I apply in Thailand I have to submit whole itinerary again which is from india to China? And should upload the green health code which I got from india?

Use the same account to edit the info. Your origin country would be Thailand and your final destination is china. Need not upload tickets from India to Thailand. Just from Thailand to china, rtpcr bookings, entry stamp, previous GHC , hotel bookings etc whatever I have mentioned in the vid

Why two green required even if are transiting through third country. One of friend went to Hongkong with no green code taken in India. Then in Hongkong he took green code then enter in China. This one is best option .

Hongkong doesn't require a GHC from India, I chose this route because based on my priorities. You may choose any route based on your needs

Your university should inform you regarding this. But in general quarantine expenses are around 4000-6000 yuans depending on which hotel you get

Thank you. Yes it's always better to find a direct flight from a transit country. As of now India doesn't have direct flights yet.

So I'm assuming you're from Saudi Arabia and your transit country is Malaysia. So in that case you should upload your Malaysian visa
