Guys I’m not sure if this is correct but perhaps the reason why a lot of UAE parks don’t have a lot of theming is because some themes may be offensive to the Emirati culture.
I love the idea of these twisty wild mouse-ish roller coasters. Wish we had more like it in America. On another note, I hope they aren't done with this ride. It looks a little barren. The que line looks good tho.
I think that the theming is something that's gonna be added in the next few seasons. Some European parks like Hansa Park do this where they first open the coaster and then adds on the theming for the next season! And they usually end up with amazing results!
I keep seeing people say that there's no themeing , but they must not be seeing those barrels and other construction equipment on the floor. I even saw a staircase at 1:11!
So many spectacular things in Dubai, yet the parks all seem to be full of false promise with everything done on a budget with little or no imagination :(
Honestly they are just pushing out rides just to attract people. There's no actual thought process behind any of the rides. It's just buy and build for them because they have the money to do it.
How the hell did this movie out of all of them get a ride? A FUCKING ROLLER COASTER EVEN!? (Not that I have a problem with the movie. I thought it was OK.)
LOL at people who complain about lack of theming. Who cares? I suppose you had a bad breakfast today because you didn't like the packet your cornflakes came in?
Paulie Jay, the point is that it is a *theme* park. The theming in actual theme parks, which is what this is supposed to be, is supposed to give rides an edge above those at amusement parks, and make it an experience rather than just a ride - this is what companies like Disney do incredibly(Space Mountain would be somewhat equivalent with this ride if it didn’t have theming involved).
abhijeet jayakrishnan Then we have very different opinions, I personally enjoyed img more, and motiongate bored me. You enjoyed motiongate more, and img bored you. Depends on the type of person, don't you agree?
Unimaginative & boring. Barely any Themeing & no special effects. You can tell this was supposed to be an enclosed indoor rollercoaster. The track is even painted gray like Space Mountain. Looks like they cut the budget & made it a lackluster outdoor coaster instead. Very lame.
Lil' Angry B!tch nah it was intentionally planned to be an outdoor rollercoaster. But I can agree, it looks very plain and there should've been more to the theming.
I think that extra theming is going to be something that will be added in the coming years! A lot of European parks like Hansa park and Plopsaland to name a few do this strategy!
Well listen there you shameful ungrateful person I was there yesterday and guess what it was my second favorite ride and I'm very picky when it comes to roller coasters as a matter of fact I'm terrified of roller coasters and I wasn't whilst riding this one ps.it was sooooooooooooo fast I was riding it 16 times and yes I was counting
