Underwater Park - The Green Lake, Austria is a dry park in the Winter, and a 10m deep lake in the summer! Located at the foot of the Hochshwab Mountains in the Austrian region of Styri. The reason for this is because in the summer, the snow and ice around the mountains melts and floods the park. The Green Lake, as it is called, attracts divers who are curious to see how the park looks like underwater.
a special tumb up for the sound track of this video, great idea the musical intro soon as the diver enters the water, like in another world, and another great idea to mix the birds singing and all the forest sounds with the images underwater, together with the super relaxing music ! great job !
+Maria Luz That's tourism for you. When it's not managed properly, things get out of hand. A shame too, cause this looks like a really lovely place to explore.
The water is so clear because its melt water from the snow on the Hochschwab mountains. Every spring, the snow melts, fills the basin to a depth of about 10m. In winter, the water drains away to 3 or 4 meters, and the area is used as park (hence the underwater bench).
one of the beautiful countries in the world.. even better than switzerland.... landscape, people culture, food, law & order transport system.... amazing... spent five years there n those r d best time of my entire life.. Ich liebe....
Austria is really rich in clean source of water. Because real Austrians care for the Nature. They protect it. People from other countries who are residing now in Austria should do the same.
how wonderful and amazing . Water must have been so cold since its from the melted ice in the mountains. Ice melted when its summer and the flows down to the dry land. This dry land serves like a basin where melted ice from montains flows down. The water reaches to 1to 2 mtr most and 10 meters as the highest.
So schön obwohl ich in diesem Land lebe ohne etwas davon zu wissen, was schade ist, wirklich :( aber was Allah so schönes erschafft, es ist einfach wunderbar, gibt dort leben wo es eigentlich unmöglich scheint .
seeing places like this makes you want for all the people in the world to disappear so you can enjoy this beauty for the rest of your life with weed, beer , food and shit without it being destoyed by global warming and other bad things people cause and im writing this just because im drunk and i feel like doing so
There must be some nice places left here....but I remember as a child going on holiday the crystal greeny blue lakes of Europe....I think england is just too crowded now....everything as you say has been spoiled.I was out walking in the countryside and saw some crack and heroin smoking stuff dumped- it was sooo depressing to see such signs of humanity even out there, away from the cities.
