This track 100% has to be played on a very large capable sound system, the bit where the high pitched squelching drops back into the clean bassline is massive.
If you haven't heard this on a maxed out, cobbled together sound system in an abandoned factory in the midwest, you haven't properly heard Green Velvet.
First time i heard this was 98 in chicago. Headlined with slugo, paul johnson, and bad boy bill. Was a splended time till i forgot where i was and ended up at the montrose rocks at 1pm completely cracked out.
@@milesacid3627a bit late, but velvet used a Yamaha PSS 480 for this track and many others, it's a pretty straight forward 2 Operator FM synth, if you're using a VST try playing with the Modulation amount into the noise range, mod frequency as well as FM mod envelopes and glide 👌
I leave my body on a regular basis..........snorted a massive line of coke last weekend and just pumped this track loud loud loud...his beats are awesome....
It's a type of sound system, designed in New York. Was used at Twilo and also at Cream in Liverpool...oh and Sankeys in Manchester...oh and Cielo in New York
First time I heard this I was candy flippin my nuts off at some random warehouse, with like a 1000 ppl, in a super dodgy part of Chicago... I was 18... Goodtimes. 😂
I totally remember the warehouse days! Sw to dalton. After it went to mlk downtown is when it got bad. Maybe 99/00. Went to west side. Black hole was a pop spot.
@@michelelaraia7358 yes! Went to a few on mlk. Muther funker stands out completely. They had cops with desks out in the parking lot robbing people. Then came back in the party a few hours later and tried selling everyone shit back. It was horrendous! That was towards the end though. Maybe 2000ish. Crews were getting other crews shut down to bring people to their party. Chi ended up being a wash and we started setting up shop in Milwaukee and Madison.
In the beginning it's line the sound of sniffing lines. Lines of Special K. Talking about sometimes i want to leave my body. The choice is there pending on how big of rail you do. Outer body experience for sure, floating but not floating away. Feet anchored to the floor. Yea he's definitely doing bumps of K. This a great song for a hole.
