Red vs green LASER LEVEL. Which should I buy? This video is to help answer that question. We utilise the cpi green laser level (part number CPI101G) and the dewalt red laser(DW089).

I use a red laser all the time and I've been thinking of switching over to green but I've been sceptical. This is the comparison I needed to convince me. Could you maybe compare a red laser to a Milwaukee green cause I'm a Milwaukee guy and wanna stay in the brand. Love the video dude

Glad it helped mate. Did you checkout the green laser comparison I did a few weeks ago? I compared the green Milwaukee’s to this green CPI. The Milwaukee’s were a lot better obviously as they cost 3-4 times as much. It will show that they are a lot brighter and go further. I hope that helps. Cheers for the support legend👍

Great comparison.. I have the Dewalt Green, Dewalt Red, and Dewalt Plumb Green I agree that Green is brighter especially in sunlight! I know Dewalt has red and green glasses that allows for a clearer look at the lasers in bright conditions.. love to see a comparison on them. Ive been debating purchasing the glasses Cheers

30 years of this and bought one of the first lasers,, I'll save you a LOT of money..... Buy a red 5 point laser and a green line laser. The red point is great for outdoor (green is useless) and the green line is nice for inndoor work like setting cabinets. If budget is an issue, buy the red point and a tripod for cabinets. A green laser will NOT work for outdoor work like columns, siding, framing or deck layouts (unless you wanna do it in the dark).
