Factory sealed unboxing of a full set of Greenlight's Hot Pursuit Series 25. Watch my surprise as I pull not one, but two Chase cars from the mix! Greenlight's 'Treasure Hunt' results in a Super Chase and a Green Machine, fantastic!
Removable hard top on the '77 Dodge 4x4 was very impressive! Had no idea looking at it that the roof piece could be detached until you did so in the video. That is some precision engineering!
Congrats on the white Charger Chase and the Green Machine Victoria! Love the Hot Pursuit series and like you, i like the blue police cars the most. I like the 1977 Dodge Ramcharger, nice details on this casting. In general i really like the lifted trucks Greenlight is doing lately. Thank you for this video presentation!
There is another variation of Greenlight’s rare cars called the Super Green Machine. Besides the green chassis, tires and/or wheels; the model’s body would only have the decals and no paint; kind of like the ZAMAC special Hot Wheels...
Oh wow. The NYPD cars are amazing, I would love a few period cars from the same force of course. The lemans and Monaco kind of go nice. Your right about the scale too, the Greenlight cop cars look great in photographs from all angles.
I like that Plymouth Fury casting alot...I got the Atlanta Police Ford Crown Victoria thanks to seeing your videos...I also got the Starsky & Hutch Ford Gran Torino...I can deal with the green wheels and base...no green tires....it looks kind of corny to me and I don't like those gray tires either but I appreciate...the realism of the scale and detail....I need Baltimore , Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Detroit, Los Angeles, Washington DC, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, and Boston Police cars,...I also got two of the Supernatural TV show cars...the Winchester Chevelle and Bobby's Chevelle....all of the cars are beautiful...a lot of detail ...that is why I started buying Greenlight cars,...you made me a believer!
Very nice to hear that I got you started on your Greenlight collection, they really are wonderfully detailed models and fun to not only collect but examine. You have a nice collection! Thanks for watching and for commenting
The 25th anniversary on the Hot Pursuit is the series number, not the year. They are celebrating the 25th set of the Hot Pursuit series. Greenlight has not been around 25 years. Congrats on the chases! Two in one box. Here is a website where you can find info about each series Greenlight has produced in 1/64th scale (za3collectibles.com/1_navigation_GL_FINAL.htm.) You can find out the production numbers as well. The site only has inputted info for up to Hot Pursuit Series 22 as of now. You can also see what upcoming cars are coming out in the coming months on the 'news and info' tab.
Im going to go back threw and find out which but either the fury or the lamans i accidently bought one missing the light bar. I later went back and got another. I still have the error one here somewhere. Awesome chases bud.
My favourites in the Greenlight Hot Pursuit Series 25 collection is the 1. 76 Pontiac LeMans NYPD Cruiser 2. 77 Plymouth Fury NYPD Auxiliary Cruiser 3. 78 Dodge Monaco Illinois State Police Cruiser 4. 2016 Dodge Charger California Highway Patrol Cruiser
i wet myself to when i found the silver tires. i have the complete set now. i have an extra silver tire charger for trade. Love your videos btw Wtffor just starting to watch them.
OK thanks and great vids for your collection. And would like to maybe chat more about collecting maybe even try and trade some stuff maybe.. if your game
Mainly from other collectors more in the know with Greenlight reps. Some youtubers are really into Green Machines and chase pieces. I have not been able to find much info on the internet otherwise
GL did do the LeMans right. Buford T.'s car didn't get that silver line under the tailights because in the movie his car never had them, but the NYPD one (there is an actual restored example) does.
The ford torino cop and the yellow torino are not the same they are very different ! Look at the bumpers! The 2 dr and cop are the same bumpers except for the yellow ford good thing you noticed later in the video! Good video and God bless
The CHP Dodge Charger is from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. It was the prototype version, but with the lightbar taken off it looks like the exact car that the CHP's CVE use
I just realized my Greenlight buying options will be extremely limited soon due to the demise of Toys R Us -so an online case might be fun and Green Machines never seemed to make it to the floor anyway.
Online is always a good source for Greenlight cars, however with TRU now out of existence I'm sure that WalMart will pick up some of the slack in sales an start stocking more Greenlights. They already are here in Ontario, Canada.
wtffor That would be cool although in this area Walmart’s have a problem with people buying M2’s and returning them without wheels, parts, etc ...so I’m sure they’ll raid the Greenlight as well.
I found a green machine in the store and I did not know what to do I didn't know if I wanted to buy or if I just wanted to leave it but if I bought it it's in my storage room and just sitting there
My advice is unless you are selling cars regularly with an e-bay store and especially if you don't like the car - just don't buy it speculating that somehow someday you'll make a buck or two off of the purchase. Leave the Chases for the collectors that will appreciate them more then yourself.
My friend i need that baltimore police car..if u get 1 ill be happy to trade for it if you like. I have green machine trailers and tows..all digferent kind
