My fav has to be the Windsor Police Charger. Windsor is only about 1/2 hour from my home here in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Good vid Wtffor. Thanx for sharing. :)
The mail man brought me the Windsor Police Charger today. I am happy to add the first Canadian police car to my collection! Greetings from Germany to all Canadian diecast collectors!! 😀
Very beautiful lot, very cool the comparison of Mustangs 2 snake, despite the quality control of Greenlight fall, still loves this brand, and my favorite, very good video
I have the 76 Ford Torino Boston Massachusetts Police , 76 Pontiac LeMans Missouri Highway Patrol and the 78 Plymouth Fury Virginia State Police from GreenLight Hot Pursuit Series 26
Nice Haul. The Hot Pursuit cars from Series 26 are pretty good. Love the '39 Chevy Panel Truck, the GMC Vandura and the black '78 Mustang II King Cobra. So many good castings coming out lately from GreenLight. Thanks for showing these!
Nice haul- im really digging the hobex mustang king cobra. Have hunt one of those down. U gotta love the “howling at the moon” van too. Btw the homeland security cvpi is the Federal Protective Service. US gov police- responsible for federal bldgs, courthouses etc
Greenlight made a 2008 Mustang GT for The Edmonton Alberta Police service as well as a Dodge challenger I believe. Hot Pursuit series 5 or something like that. As you said, kind of neat to see things like that close to home. Would be awesome to see a 70's or 80's crown vic RCMP cruiser though from Greenlight.
There’s a blueline mustang and eps challenger- of course not quite the same as a real police car. Now they’ve also got the vintage and modern montreal pd too
I just got two greenlight vehicles yesterday. A hot pursuit 1976 Pontiac lemans NYPD police car.(series 25) And a 1969 Ford f-100 from the series 6 all-terrain.
I estimate 60,000 cars in my collection, from tens of different manufacturers but the larges portion of cars are Hot Wheels, followed by Matchbox / Lesney, then Greenlight, Johnny Lightning, Majorette, M2, Yatming, Ertl, Tomica, and a host of other obscure branded "1/64 scale" sized manufacturers. I buy doubles and usually open at least one of the two, if not both, as I am a loose collector, but often I just like to have multiples of favored castings, or ones I think will go up in value in years to come.
I have a question regarding Blackwall hot wheels, possibly color fx. I recently found a Porsche 959 in an odd blue (possibly broken color fx) that I couldn’t find info on. I also couldn’t find any color fx of that car that could land on that color. I was comparing the blue to other blue hot wheels Blackwalls when I found a corvette stingray with a little darker, more purple blue that I couldn’t find any info on either. Do you know anything about these cars? If you have Instagram I can send photos
Thanks for the question, and good finds by the way! I certainly can shed light on those two cars (the porche and corvette). Both are color changing cars, likely "stuck" in one color due to age - which is common. Introduced in 1988, Color Changers were available in 3-packs or singles. In 1989 they were retitled as Auto Magic, and in 1990 they enjoyed one more year of releases as Auto Magic II. In more recent years color changer cars featured plastic bodies rather then the original metal bodies.
There are 2 versions of the Crown Victoria casting: one without front door trims and the other Crown Vic casting does (this Homeland Security model is an example.)
I know you get these questions all the time, but I'm having trouble finding these models. Where do you find these in stores? I look at Walmart, Meijer, but can't find any. Thanks!
@@wtffor ….thank you…I just started collecting…I have the current series and I just sent away for the previous series. Thanks so much…I just subscribed
My favorite looking pursuit car is the 2016 Dodge Charger Pursit I like how the front of the police car is black and the white hood. And the back of the car is white and the word Police on the side is blue and how the word Windsor is black.
That Pontiac LeMans Police car would make a good casting for a Smokey and the Bandit themed car, not liking the gas cap on the Crown Victoria, it's supposed to be more like a round gas door instead of a gas cap like it looks there.
Greenlight has already done the 77 LeMans decorated for Sheriff Justice's car. It was part of Greenlight Hollywood Series 18. Appearnlty they will be also doing a 1/18 scale version of the Sheriff car.
O.P.P, RCMP, there are many Canadian departments GL can do, but this Windsor Police 150th Anniversary special Charger is indeed only the 2nd Canadian police car GL has so far done...
