This sequence shows the characteristic bottom half corrosion of timber and steel that is common amongst RF`s in unrestored condition, the main problem areas are: step structure, wheel arches & hoops, mud guards, drop pillars, rear stress panel, emergency exit door & frame, battery cage and all lower half timber packing. We have seen examples where RF`s have been fitted with stainless steel wheel arches but this is rare, the bolt-on mudguards can conceal severe chassis corrosion.
