When presented with the opportunity of a weekend roadtrip, I headed directly to my list of castles in the United States. (Yes, there are castles in North America!) Built in Ohio by Sir Harry Andrews during the 20th century, the Loveland Castle (Château Laroche) is a great archaeological study of medieval castles.
Greensleeves, an English folk ballad from the 16th century, is one of the first songs I learned on accordion. It is not perfect, but if I waited for something to be perfect, nothing would ever be posted! I know you're here mostly for calligraphy, but as you may have already gathered, my love for medieval and historical artistry goes beyond the quill.
Fun fact! "Greensleeves" was originally registered with the title "A Newe Northen Dittye of ye Ladye Greene Sleves". Love that name!
(Btw, yes, I hear that clicking noise. It wasn't there before I uploaded it. Does anyone know what it is?)
Accordion: Paolo Soprani piano accordion.
